FantasticStayed with friends
Very old school hotel with Southern Charm and a cool speak-easy in the basement. Loved sitting in the shaded courtyard with a cup of coffee. The opposite of a sterile, corporate hotel. History and kitch and a cozy bar.

Fantastic The staff were all so nice and very helpful! Loved the history of the hotel and the speakeasy was so fun but understaffed. Poor girl serving the place by herself did it with a smile despite carrying the entire place.

FantasticStayed with friends · For friends and family
For my first visit, I had a marvelous stay. The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and house keeping made it pleasant during my stay. My only critique: a better explanation of events and amenities. The times were and dates from brunch on the weekdays or the live music for the speakeasy weren’t quite clear. Parking was also an issue, they only had valet. Just make sure you ask for accurate times for the things available and be ready to park in a separate lot. Other than that I will definitely be back!

What a beautiful historic hotel! Remodeled for all conveniences and the best water pressure and shower during our entire week traveling throughout the Southeast.

GreatStayed with partner
The hotel was clean but the bed and the sofa was too low for me . It was hard for me to get out of. The hotel was alright but not my style.

GoodStayed with family
I was there because I had a visit to the hospital the next morning. Hotel was nice but very dark inside and old feeling. The rooms are pretty small, shower is small, biggest complaint is they have no parking and charge 50 dollars for valley for I night. That is ridiculous, with tips it cost me 70 dollars to park for 1 night. I knowni didnt have to tip but even without that 50 dollars is crazy.
