It was a solid hotel near everything. The elevator was really small so just make sure to plan for that. But walkable to the Trevi fountain, colosseum, Spanish steps, and pantheon.

En general bien, los pisos tiemblan un poco cuando caminas, es una propiedad antigua, el ascensor es bastante pequeño. El personal amable.

This was not a hotel. It was a room in an old apartment building. The elevator did not work and we had to take our suitcase down the stairs ourselves. No fridge ,no iron just a kettle. Room was clean but it had a bare minimum. A double bed. A small closet with three hangers. An unfunctional safe deposit box. The air condition remote did not work and we had to pull the plug to turn it off. There were no shampoo or hair conditioner. Just a body wash which we did not use. The hand soap was diluted with water. They cleaned the room once but did not change the towels. We paid about $300 Canadian dollar /night which was too much for the quality they provided. It was a total rip off to us.

When we arrived we were met by a very professional young lady that was very helpful in the checking in process. When we got to our room it was very warm and we thought it maybe because the ac had been turned off and needed time. That was not the case. The ac apparently is broken and so the next morning we went to the registration desk and asked if she would please send someone to check on it for us. To which the new lady working replied “you need to respect the Roman ac units and give it time.” We had given it 12 hours. So we opened the window. The next day the young lady that checked us in was working when I went back down to ask for someoneto please come check it. she came up to help to the room with us tried to get it work but it still did not cool.she said she would send maintenance up the next day. We never heard anything from anyone on the matter and had to sleep with the window open the remainder of our stay because it would not cool. We also asked for more coffee packs from the same hatful lady to which she replied “ those were only for the first day as complimentary.” if that is the case it needs to be posted somewhere. The large coffee kettle implies that we were getting coffee and tea each day. We also ran out of toilet paper 2 times! We have stayed in several hotels in Italy during our trip and your was the most expensive and with the worst experience we had. We realized that we are in another country and tried to keep that in mind but would not recommend.

Small clean room, well cared for. Bwry nice and helpful staff. Bare bones hotel. Shower was way too small, room door security was lacking. Many steps in and out of the building

The hotel is old, certainly, but this was our first time to Rome, so to be expected. There was a lot of construction going on, so generally, it didn't feel complete. The rooms were kept very clean, certainly. The staff were very helpful in terms of check in, recommendations and assistance!! There was definitely an issue with the noise, as who could have predicted a bar nearby that played live (loud) music until 11:00 p.m.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The building is extremely old and poorly maintained, and cleanliness was a major issue throughout my stay. There was a strong, unpleasant smell in both the hallways and the bedroom, similar to sewage coming from the toilet and shower, which made it very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, on the last day there was no water at all, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel. Overall, this was a very negative experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

The location is excellent for seeing many of the bigger tourist attractions. Service at check in and check out was also top-notch. Despite being put in a “new” room, the establishment itself, however, leaves something to be desired. The room itself was fairly clean, but the route to get to the room was complicated, dated and definitely not clean. We had to pass through several different doors (requiring actual physical keys) to get to our room, and sometimes would find these doors unlocked and left open by other patrons (making us feel a little unsafe). The building itself is very old (expected for Rome) so there’s nothing to insulate noise between rooms. With this, we dealt with noisy neighbours for a couple of days and ended up having to knock on their door late at night to get music turned down. Outside of using WhatsApp (and hoping you get a text back) there’s no way to reach the main desk from the room itself for any sort of assistance. While the room was comfortable and offered plenty of space for 3 of us, during a rain storm we noticed drywall dropping from the skylight in the bathroom (suspect moisture getting in) and couldn’t help but notice mold all around the skylight. It’s unfortunate the space is not great, as the service at check in, in particular, was awesome. Staff at the desk took the time to help us map out a route to the sites we wanted to see, recommended public transit routes, etc. Regrettably, we would not stay here again.
