What happens if I miss my train in Taiwan?
Once your train departs, your ticket is no longer valid and can't be refunded.
If you miss it, you can switch to another Taiwan High Speed Rail train on the same day if seats are available. Haven't picked up your ticket yet? Ask staff at the ticket counter to help you switch. You'll need to take non-reserved seat.
Some discounted fares require you to pay the fare difference. This depends on the terms of your discount.
If you don't board any train on your travel date, no refund is available. Make sure to arrive at your station early.
