Things to do in Indonesian Safari Park Bogor

Safari park was a bit crowded when we visited, but overall an excellent experience. Our driver Shoimul we would also like to commend for his professionalism and patience. Kudos!

It was just my child and I traveling, not knowing anything, but thanks to Wilman, our trip went smoothly. Even though it was a holiday, we were able to get around without any issues. Our private driver navigated the roads flawlessly, and his help at the zoo made for a wonderful day.

I recently visited Bogor Safari with driver Wildan. First, his driving was incredibly steady, which allowed me to relax comfortably throughout the journey. I was also impressed by his thoughtful consideration in helping us get a better view of the animals inside the safari. He was punctual and, above all, very kind, which made the entire tour enjoyable. It seems we visited on a public holiday, and even our driver mentioned it was the most crowded he'd ever experienced. It took us about two hours to get through the car safari section. However, since it was a private tour, we could relax and take our time without worrying about other people, which made it enjoyable. For the second half, we chose to continue enjoying the safari rather than going to the waterfall, and we truly got to spend the day exactly as we wished. It was also very helpful that the office contacted us a few days in advance, and when we requested an earlier meeting time, they were flexible and accommodated us. On the day of the tour, we could communicate directly with the driver, and he was very polite! Thank you, Soimur! By the way, you get much wetter than expected on the rapid ride inside the park, so if you don't want to get soaked, be sure to wear a raincoat, haha.

I visited Taman Safari with my family. The pickup time from downtown Jakarta was at 7:30 AM, and we departed right on time. Our guide was Shoimul Anwar. He was pleasant and kind. We received carrots for free, and bananas and watermelon were purchased separately. It took about two hours to get to the safari, and we immediately started the car safari. We fed the animals as we went, and it was a very enjoyable experience. Following our guide's instructions, we watched the elephant show, dolphin show, and pandas. It was too big of a place to see everything in one day. Thanks to our guide, we were able to finish the itinerary happily. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this Safari tour! It was definitely one of my happiest and most unforgettable memories in Jakarta! From the moment I signed up, I felt very well taken care of. The organizer proactively contacted me to confirm the itinerary details and was even open to special requests, like spending more time in a particular area, which was really flexible. Our driver and guide, Wildan, was very polite and able to communicate in basic English, making the whole experience very comfortable. Because we were going to a relatively distant location, about a two-hour drive, he even arranged for rest stops, allowing us to get out and stretch our legs, which was very thoughtful. 🍽️【Time and Pace】 Departure is at 7:30 AM, and I highly recommend being on time! The park is really big, and you might not be able to see everything in a day. If you really love animals, you can skip the waterfall cafe at the end and spend more time in the park! 🥕【Animal Feeding Tips】 The organizer provides a bag of carrots, but I highly recommend purchasing an extra basket. We spent about IDR 150,000 and got a large bag of carrots, two or three bunches of bananas, and two watermelons! The bananas were even sweet enough to eat while feeding the animals (laughs). 🍴【Lunch Arrangements】 Wildan will take you to the parking lot next to the Baby Zoo. I recommend eating something before starting to explore. The restaurant costs about IDR 100,000 per person, and I suggest only allocating about 1 hour for lunch because time will be a little tight. 📸【Recommended Interactive Activities】 There are many interactive experiences in the park: · Feeding giraffes (IDR 350,000 per family) · At the Baby Zoo, you can take photos with animals like eagles, servals, and kangaroos. The prices are very reasonable and worth it! 🐾【Hidden Gem — Red Pandas】 If you also love red pandas, be sure to ask Wildan to take you to the free shuttle bus station next to the Panda House. The bus ride takes about 5-10 minutes up the mountain, and the scenery is beautiful! We arrived at around 2:30 PM, and one ticket allows you to interact and take photos with the red pandas, plus it includes a cup of ice cream. It costs about IDR 800,000 per person, which is super worthwhile and therapeutic! Although we didn't have time to go to the aquarium in the end, overall, it was a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for families with children, couples, and friends who love small animals! I will definitely visit this place again ❤️

best experience. A vast animal kingdom where the animals and habitat are all in a preserved condition. The only downside is the food offered (Panda Palace). The food there was not worth the price. Also, when we visited the panda palace, only one panda was available. You have to pay 85k to feed the red panda in less than 30 seconds. not really worth it.
