Fantastic 5.0
Considering it was a 24-hour period, I thought about various courses. In the end, I used the pass from 2 PM until 2 PM the next day. First thing in the morning, I went to Gamcheon Culture Village → Huinnyeoul Culture Village → Arte Museum (pass activated) → Songdo Marine Cable Car. The next day, I got off at Songjeong, the final stop, via the Beach Train → I went to Skyline Luge, but there was a huge line, so I took a taxi back from Songjeong to Haeundae via the Beach Train → X the Sky (pass deactivated). Looking back, I think it might have been better to go to a spa in Centum City at the end of the first day. For all the attractions covered by the pass, you have to complete the reception process, but except for the Beach Train, the signs were easy to understand, and many of the staff spoke Japanese. The Beach Train had a huge line after 9 AM. The queuing system was a bit confusing. The leftmost line on the first floor was for tickets. Despite the long line, it moved smoothly, and I was able to get a reservation for 10:45 AM. You can get off the Beach Train multiple times along the way, but you have to wait for the next train, so please be mindful of your schedule. It's a bit worrying not knowing how crowded places will be until you get there. For places you absolutely don't want to miss, I recommend going first thing in the morning!

Avoid the queues. Very easy to pre purchase via Klook we bought an all station beach train ticket and travelled from Mipo to Seongjeong then caught it back to The Daritdol Skywalk then walked back to Mipo stopping at the Haewol Skywalk. It’s a completely flat boarded walk so quite easy to walk at your own pace, stop for a drink or something to eat, and to take photos of the scenery, the passing Sky capsules and beach trains. It’s approx 30m wait otherwise for the beach train depending on your timing. if you really want to ride the sky capsule then must book in advance.

Most hotels in Busan only allow check-in after 5 PM. We arrived at Busan Airport at 7 AM after taking a midnight flight, so we had to think of activities to do in the city before checking into our hotel. That's how we found Centum City SpaLand. We bought tickets online and decided to relax there first. This place is located inside a large shopping mall, right next to a city subway station, and has its own separate entrance (remember to look for the independent entrance; don't try to enter through the mall, as it only opens at 11 AM). Inside, there are separate areas for men and women, with pools of various temperatures. If you're interested, you can try the 'ice and fire' experience to relax your tired body. There are also many sauna-like rooms, including rock salt rooms and ice rooms, where you can sit or lie down as you please – there's definitely a room for everyone. Other amenities include a snack area, a large relaxation area where you can surf the internet and watch TV, and, most uniquely, a restaurant that offers DIY ramen. For one price, you can choose a packet of instant noodles from many varieties, and they provide a noodle cooker, side dishes (kimchi, bean sprouts, sausages, cheese, etc.), and seasonings. Guests can cook their own ramen, and once finished, it tastes a bit like Korean army stew – very interesting! We spent several hours here. It was our first 'attraction' and first experience in Busan. The admission and expenses were not high, so we highly recommend giving it a try!

Fantastic 5.0
The rates on Klook were much cheaper than the walk-in prices at the attraction. I was able to book our tickets online right at the entrance, and the QR codes were emailed to me instantly, making the process quick and hassle-free. The aquarium has a great variety of sea creatures and is a fun attraction to visit if you’re already spending time at Haeundae Beach. My son had an amazing time and really enjoyed the experience!

As a solo traveler, this was such a fun experience, even sharing a cable car with strangers. We ooo’ed and ahh’ed as the cable car took us over water, alongside Songdo beach. I wanted to spend more time around Amnam park but I was short on time and it was way too hot for a brisk hike. The return trip was just as lovely and comfortable.

Easy to use Klook ticket and we were able to book it on the same day! The views from Busan X the Sky were amazing. I recommend coming early when it opens or around midday so you have more time to enjoy the place, especially if you want to stay longer at the Starbucks on the highest floor. Definitely worth a visit! so many korean starbucks exclusive merch and lots of kpop merch!

The journey was convenient, and the boat departed on time. The staff provided excellent service, and there were drinks available on board. You register at the registration center first, then queue up to board the boat. Photo services are available for both phone and Polaroid. The weather is still cold, so it would be great to bring warm clothes. I recommend the night fireworks cruise over the daytime one, especially if there's no sun.

Jake, our guide, was Amazing! really great experience, driving, and gave us very valuable free time. Well organized. Not so much walking (which we personally appreciate) and even with that we did all the spots perfectly. Highly recommended tour!

A very good experience riding the luge. Reach early to avoid the large crowd. It would be good if there is no need to change to a physical ticket at the counter. Had to queue just for ticket exchange. overall good experience.

What to know before visiting Busan

Top experiences to try in Busan across the year

Busan’s most-booked activities are attraction passes, followed by cable car rides and a variety of tours, and that pattern shapes the city’s seasonal rhythm. Demand peaks in March, with interest staying high into April and dipping sharply around July, so plan for a busy spring if you want those popular experiences.

Best activities for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find attraction passes, playgrounds and gentle water activities the easiest to enjoy together, with lots of family-friendly entry choices. Couples often favour cable car trips and curated tours for scenic moments and shared experiences. Solo travellers and small groups can pick from a wide range of tours and attraction passes that suit independent exploration or joining day groups.

What travellers from Australia should book in advance

Most visitors from Australia tend to be flexible on short stays, but planning is still useful: travellers typically book around 17 days out, while the earliest planners lock things in about 34 days ahead. Booking ahead matters most for the March peak months, when availability tightens and advance reservations are more important.

How the main categories compare on price and appeal

Cable cars are the easiest, lowest-cost entry to Busan sightseeing, while tours sit at the higher end of the typical price range. Attraction passes offer the widest spread of options—from budget to mid-range—making them the most versatile choice for different budgets and trip styles. Water activities and playgrounds tend toward mid-level price points and suit families and visitors looking for active, on-the-water or kid-friendly options.
