Thank you, Klook! The redemption is easy, hassle free and we are able to get discount too with our tickets! I am travelling with my baby and this makes it very easy for me as we only need to show the QR code. We are able to enjoy the rides despite the weather and we had so much fun in Disneyland.

I actually wanted to take my kids to visit the Egypt exhibition at the Hong Kong Palace Museum last October, but I saw in the news that it was too crowded, so I kept looking for a weekday when the kids didn't have school. It ended up being almost the end of summer vacation before I finally got around to buying tickets on Klook. The Egypt exhibition closes on August 31st, so luckily we made it in time. Buying tickets on Klook not only offered a discount, but using the electronic QR code for entry was also very convenient, as we didn't have to queue to buy or collect tickets. We bought tickets for 2 PM to 6 PM, and fortunately, we arrived early (around 1:45 PM). As a result, we were able to enter early at 1:45 PM without waiting in line. Initially, the crowd wasn't too bad, and we could get close to the exhibits and take photos after a short wait in Hall 9. However, it gradually got more crowded, and the waiting times became longer. Nevertheless, having the opportunity to admire ancient Egyptian artifacts from thousands of years ago up close was absolutely worth it! By the time we left Hall 9, there was already a long queue outside, so if you're planning to go, be sure to arrive as early as possible to avoid the crowds.

We went on a very sunny day, the weather was great. We took the Crystal Cabin. There were more sights on the right side – the airport, the big bridge... (Actually, you can see them more clearly from an airplane; the cable car isn't high enough). But on the left side, you can eventually see the Big Buddha and Po Lin Monastery. In the Crystal Cabin, it feels like you're standing on water and above the forest. I later realized that the Ngong Ping 360 advertisement features the panoramic cabin. I believe the panoramic cabin would give an even stronger 'person in the air' sensation. When we arrived, there were still decorations for the 20th anniversary, even though it had just ended. There's an Ngong Ping Bing Sutt (cafe) for photo opportunities. Inside the cabin, only the small windows open for ventilation, so it felt a bit stuffy. On the return trip, in a standard cabin, the sun hadn't set by 6:00 PM because it was summer, and clouds were covering the sun. I recommend allowing more time, 5 hours or more, if you want to visit the Big Buddha in addition to Po Lin Monastery. I didn't go up that day, not only because I didn't have enough time but also because it was too sunny; the weather only became overcast closer to 5 PM. I had been up before, so I didn't go again, but last time I took the bus only to the Big Buddha and didn't visit Po Lin Monastery.

Great Experience, They have dedicated lines for group bookings so we are able to enter the park without queuing, so convenient. Everyone enjoy the rides, the encounter, the spots and some games. Highly recommend booking via klook.

Walking into Tai Kwun's Better Together, I wasn't a spectator—I was a student. As an amateur filmmaker, 拍住上 (paak zyu soeng) is my mantra. It's the pat on the shoulder, the camera roll, the bond that turns a crew into family. This exhibition breathes life into that. From 80s wire work to 90s explosions, every prop whispers: we do this together. Standing before relics from Police Story III, I felt cinematic history. Recreated action & behind-the-scenes footage unveil Hong Kong's special effects magic—revealing how a tiny speck crafted a language Hollywood echoed. The journey from Black Rose to Rob N Roll charts not just film history, but a city's soul—resilient, adaptive, collaborative. Walking with these legends, I rediscovered my "why." This isn't an exhibition; it's a masterclass in heart & hustle. Devoted, sincere, unstoppable—these define filmmakers. If you care about film or overcoming odds, go. Feel the paak zyu soeng for yourself.

I thoroughly enjoyed both the permanent collection and the special exhibitions. The ability to see contemporary Asian art is a major advantage. Currently, a solo exhibition by artist Lee Bul is underway. You can also see works by Korean artists such as Kimsooja and Nam June Paik. The views of the West Kowloon Cultural District and Victoria Harbour through the large glass windows are a highlight in themselves. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which showed great attention to detail. There are food trucks nearby, so it would be a good idea to grab lunch or dinner after seeing the exhibition. (I also visited the adjacent Hong Kong Palace Museum and saw the Egyptian exhibition.)

it was great. The Ninja was good as well. While the small little arcade area the some kids don't take turns properly and take a long time to play but over all it was good experience.

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

Top experiences in Hong Kong through the year

Hong Kong’s most-booked experiences are dominated by Theme parks, followed by Events & shows and Observation decks, with demand rising and peaking toward December. Bookings dip through the northern summer, hitting a low in July, while late-year festivities make December the busiest month for things to do.

Best picks for families, couples and solo travellers

Families will find Theme parks and Playgrounds especially appealing — they account for the largest family-oriented demand and suit visitors chasing big shared experiences. Couples often gravitate to Events & shows and Observation decks for romantic evenings or skyline views. Solo travellers and small groups can easily mix Observation decks and Museums for flexible, budget-friendly days out with plenty of off-peak availability.

What travellers from Australia should book ahead

Most travellers from Australia keep plans flexible in Hong Kong: typical bookings are made around three days out, though earlier planners still book roughly 18 days ahead. Booking a little earlier matters most in the peak season around December, when demand climbs and popular dates fill faster.

How the categories compare on price and who they suit

Observation decks are the easiest, lowest‑entry way to experience Hong Kong’s skyline, while Theme parks sit at the higher end of the typical price range. Events & shows offer the widest spread — from modest tickets to premium experiences — so they can suit budget-minded visitors and splurge moments alike. Museums and Playgrounds tend to sit in the mid-to-lower range and are natural choices for curious travellers and families looking for value.
