Water Attractions in Pattaya to Enjoy
- Underwater World
- Ramayana Waterpark
- FROST Magical Ice of Siam
- Tappia Floating Cafe
1. Underwater World
Who wouldn’t be excited to visit the first modern aquarium in Thailand? Exciting underwater adventures await you at Underwater World in Pattaya. The aquarium’s tanks and exhibits are home to over 5,000 diverse marine animals, ranging from corals, sharks, giant fish, and more! Our favorite part of Underwater World was the feeling as though you also were in the depths of the blue sea at the 100-meter underwater viewing tunnel.
Klook tip: Make sure to set aside time to check out the koi feeding experience for an up close encounter with new fish friends – a fun experience for the whole family!
2. Ramayana Waterpark
A visit to a waterpark is always a good idea if you’re trying to find a different way to cool down from the city heat aside from heading to the beach. The famed Ramayana Waterpark is considered to be Thailand’s biggest and best water park and has been listed as part of the Top 12 water parks in the world.
Put on your swimwear and spend a thrilling day at Ramayana Water Park’s 21 premium waterslides to ride on, like the Boomerango or Aqua-coasters. You can even choose to re-energize with a relaxing float at the 600-meter lazy river. What’ll make your experience even more unforgettable are the scenic Pattaya natural landscapes that serve as a stunning backdrop to your Ramayana Water Park memories!
3. FROST Magical Ice of Siam
A museum of ice sculptures counts as a water-themed attraction, right? Well, if a unique way to experience Thailand’s rich culture and the cool sensation of “water” is what you’re looking for, FROST Magical Ice of Siam is the place to be. The impressive 30,000sqm museum brings together history, culture, and frozen sculptures in order to tell the stories of Thailand’s rich heritage at -10 degrees!
Roam around the different zones and seasonal exhibits to see awe-inspiring ice and white sand sculptures, some depicting characters and urban legends from Thai Literature. We recommend stopping by the Food Zone for a delicious Korean shaved ice dessert in FROST Pattaya style to cool your system before heading back out to the hot temperatures of the city!
4. Tappia Floating Cafe
Travelers looking to fill their stomachs and Instagram feeds with good seafood and scenic shots should definitely head to the Tappia Floating Cafe! Docking off at Bali Hai Pier, the popular attraction is the only floating cafe in Pattaya.
Cozy up on the deck and enjoy a signature drink and your choice of grilled or sashimi freshly caught squid while you sail down the bay. What we also loved during the trip was the challenging squid fishing experience you can do onboard (which everybody celebrates once you catch one!). Adventure seekers can also enjoy optional water activities like jet skiing, parasailing, and more!
Klook tip: We highly recommend booking your trip in the afternoon to fully appreciate the glow of the sunset over Pattaya!
