7. Awana SkyWay Gondola

Wondering how you can get around Genting Highlands? You can either go the boring route by driving, or you can take in the scenery up in the mountains by hitching a cable car ride.
The Awana SkyWay is a cable car system that brings you from SkyAvenue, the mall in Genting Highlands, to Chin Swee Caves Temples (more on that below!), and finally to Awana Station where you can find the premium outlets.
You can choose between standard gondolas, or glass-floor gondolas that let you admire the mountain range below.

8. Zouk Genting

Gunung Bunga Buah is a hiking trail close to Genting Highlands accessible from Gohtong Jaya. As this is a moderately difficult trail, be sure to set aside an entire day dedicated to your climb (you’ll need about 6 hours to complete the entire route!).

A little detour you can make on your way to or from the Genting Highlands Premium Outlets is to stop by for a visit to the Chin Swee Caves Temple. I recommend the 10 Chambers of Hell, an attraction that showcases the Chinese beliefs of the afterlife. B
e warned though, some imagery might be a little morbid! If you’re feeling particularly energetic, consider climbing nine storeys to the top of the Pagoda Temple to enjoy a breathtaking view of the place!

For those of you who are driving, you can consider stopping by Gohtong Jaya along the way. Located on a plateau 5km below the peak of the mountain, Gohtong Jaya is home to a variety of eateries, with many of them serving classic Chinese Malaysian food.
While any restaurant will probably be a good pick, you can consider Long Kee Restaurant, or Restoran Chuan Kie. Both places serve a mouth-watering array of food, with some notable mentions being the deep-fried pork belly slices, and stir-fried rice noodles.
