8. Talking transport
By MRT
Take the Seoul Subway to Jamsil Station (Seoul Subway Line 2,8) and take exit 4. Lotte World is directly connected to the station! If you’re taking public transport while in Korea, Klook yourself a South Korea Railplus Transport Card. Use it in Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Busan and Chungcheong-do. You can also use this card to pay at convenience stores!
Ticket to Ride
Rain, rain – go away! To avoid disappointment over closed rides, check the weather forecast and the official website for ride closures before you go! Remember, your Klook tickets are open-dated, so you can wait for the weather to be on your side.
Lotte World Magic Pass
Lotte World is popular, so be prepared to use your waiting muscles. Skip the queue with a Magic Pass and make advanced reservations for selected rides using the Magic Pass app or a Magic Pass kiosk. Register your validated ticket, select the attraction and desired time from the list, and you’re all set! Magic Pass can only be used once per ride. Download the Magic Pass app and get 3 extra rides with Magic Pass perks!
Lotte World or Everland?
We’ve put our comparison hat on to help with your decision: Lotte World Or Everland? Which Korea Theme Park Should You Visit? In terms of rides, Lotte has over 40 of them, both indoors and outdoors while Everland is Korea’s biggest theme park with a whopping 5 zones and the rides tend to be larger. Location-wise, Lotte lies near Jamsil Station, which you can reach on public transport whereas Everland is an hour from the city centre. The lines at both are busy during weekends, but Lotte feels more crowded because it’s smaller. To skip the queue at Lotte, use the Magic Pass or a Q Pass at Everland. When it comes to crappy weather, as a general rule, Lotte is less likely to be affected, and when it comes to cost, it looks like this:
