    What are the COVID-19 measures at Lotte World?

    While the park operates at 100% capacity, the following COVID-19 measures are still in place:
    • Masks are required at all times.
    • Observing social distancing is recommended.
    • Some rides will require leaving seats between each person empty.

    Like many attractions, Lotte World is typically packed during the weekends and summer break in Korea (which is from mid-July to mid-August). You’ll also observe more park-goers during Chuseok, also known as Korean Thanksgiving and is held during September, as well as Christmas and New Year, which are also part of the peak season. If you want fewer crowds and shorter queues for rides, you can try to avoid these periods. 

    How do I get discounts on Lotte World tickets?

    How do I get to Lotte World?

    Lotte World is located in a neighbourhood called Jamsil, Lotte World is directly accessible from Jamsil Station, which is only 15 minutes away from Gangnam Station and about a half an hour from City Hall Station., which is about an hour away from Seoul’s centre. From there, you can visit Lotte World via multiple modes of transportation. 
    • Bus
    From the Seoul Bus Station, hop on bus 402 and ride until Nonhyeon Station. From here, you can transfer to bus 360 and hop off at Jamsil Station which has dedicated exits connected to Lotte World.
    • Train
    From Seoul Station, take Line 4 all the way to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. From here, you can transfer to Line 2 to Jamsil (Songpa-gu Office) Station. Exit Gate 4, where you’ll see signs leading to Lotte World. 

    Is there a Lotte World App?

    Before heading to the park, we recommend downloading the Lotte World App on your phone. This essential app will give you access to park hours, show schedules, and waiting time for rides to help you save time navigating the park. 

    Should I get a Magic Pass?

    Getting a Lotte World Magic Pass will help you avoid long queues (think the FASTPASS for Disneyland). There are two types of Magic Passes: Free and Premium. 
    You can get the Free Magic Pass when you register your tickets on the Lotte World App and use it to reserve a slot on a ride on your desired timeslot. The Premium Magic Pass is great for the most popular rides.

    The indoor area is called Lotte World Adventure, one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world! There are four levels housed in a glass dome, and you’ll find most of the food spots here.

    Adrenaline-seekers will love the rides at Magic Island, especially the Gyro Swing, a pendulum ride that amps up the thrill by swinging back and forth AND spinning at 360°!
    The Atlantis is the park’s iconic roller coaster that’s almost a log flume ride with how it can splash you during the drop. The Gyro Drop is another adrenaline junkie’s dream: this tower drop ride freefalls at 100km/hour!

    Lotte World Adventure has its own slate of thrilling rides, including a roller coaster with a loop-de-loop! Yes, the French Revolution is completely indoors with crazy twists and turns inside the park. There’s also the Conquistador, a Viking ship ride that also fills the roster of adrenaline-inducers. 
    For more chill rides, Camelot’s Carousel is a must for all ages!
