    Thrill Rides

    For some of the most spine-tingling, heart-pumping thrill rides, you should get down to Dreamworld! Here's a rundown of all of Dreamworld's best thrill rides:

    1. Buzzsaw

    Get the ultimate buzz from the tallest inversion ride in the Southern Hemisphere!
    From the apex of the ride, at 46 metres in the sky, you will be flipped upside down. This is where the thrill really sets in! Reaching speeds of up to 105 km per hour, you’ll fly through a series of plummeting drops, twists, and turns. Can you handle the BuzzSaw?

    2. Sidewinder

    Are you ready for an epic race? Speed through a reverse sidewinder and 360 degree loop and 13-stories of revved-up, heart thumping high-speed fun.
    Within seconds, thrill seekers are down a descent hitting speeds of up to 85 km/h, whipped through hair-raising loops and hurled into a reverse “SideWinder”. 

    3. Mick Doohan's Motocoaster

    The first Aussie motorbike rollercoaster where you can experience the rush of motorcycle racing!
    The only Motocoaster in the world featuring life-size replicas of 500cc racing bikes, the Mick Doohan Motocoaster comprises 14 custom-made motorbikes and two aero-dynamically profiled sidecars designed for small children and disabled guests. So hold on and experience the next best thing to Moto GP Racing!

    4. Pandamonium

    When you arrive at Pandamonium, choose your queue line carefully because this swinging rickshaw ride is an adventure with a serious twist.
    Mini quest seekers can choose the ‘not-so crazy’ line to enjoy a rickshaw chase adventure. Spinning round and round, and swinging side to side you will need to harness your Kung Fu endurance for this ride even on its calm rotation. Thrill Ride enthusiasts will find happiness in the ‘hard style’ line for a cycle that will send you round and round, side to side and upside down at up to 3.8 G-forces.

    5. Tail Spin

    Prepare yourself for a takeoff like you’ve never experienced. On board the Tail Spin, you’ll strap yourself in to one of the twelve mini-aeroplanes as you wait for your nerve shattering flight to begin.
    You’ll soar to a whopping 22 metres, giving you a birds eye view of Ocean Parade. Your plane will then start to whip through the air faster and faster. Grab the controls and let the air tricks begin. Will you take the scenic flight? Or push the limits with a series of heart-racing spins?

    6. The Claw

     Looking for a sky-high swing packed with adrenaline?
    Soar through the sky at up to 64 km per hour on The Claw – the most powerful pendulum on the planet! Hold on tight as we swing you 8 storeys high, while spinning 360 degrees.

    7. The Giant Drop

    Calling All Sky Fanatics!
    Are you gutsy enough to take the ultimate plunge on The Giant Drop? Conquer the tallest free-falling ride in Australia as you plummet a jaw-dropping 119 metres, accelerating at the speed of gravity. Experience the excitement and exhilaration of falling 39 stories. This icon is a giant thrill you won’t want to miss.

    Family Rides

    A family-affair of fun and adventure. Dreamworld is also home to a host of family rides - catering for the younger thrill seekers, slightly less adventurous and tiny tots but still guaranteed to delight.

    8. Dreamworld Express

    Toot, toot! All aboard for a scenic ride around Dreamworld. A great way to see the park.
    Dreamworld Express departs Central Station every 30 minutes. 

    9. Escape from Madagascar

    The cheeky penguins - Skipper, Kowalski, Rico and Private are on a new mission and they have enlisted the help of the chimps in their latest adventure as they try to Escape from Madagascar with the rest of their friends. It's the wildest rollercoaster around!

    10. Gingy's Gliders

    The world's most loved gingerbread man now has his own ride. Guests lie on Gingy shaped carriages and fly through the sky amongst lollipops and gummy drop buttons.

    11. Mad Jungle Jam

    Madagascar's chimps have gone wild in the Mad Jungle Jam and families can join in the fun with hundreds of squidgy balls, air cannons, foam fountains, rope bridges and lookout towers.

    12. Shockwave

    Grab some seats with your family or friends, lock yourself in and get ready to explore the great deep (on dry land!). Don’t be fooled as the discovery vessel cranks to life, it only takes a few moments before the initial gentle sways to take a turn for the worse and become 360 degree spins of fury.  At full speed you’ll be propelled at over 50kph down a 63m long wave-like track that plunges and climbs, so one second you feel completely weightless and the next the full load of gravity takes hold, all while circling at 12 revolutions per minute at up to 2.5Gs.

    13. Skadoosh Bumper Cars

    The Skadoosh Bumper Cars are family fun at its best where kids can learn how to drive a dragon with mum or dad as their passenger. Set amongst a busy marketplace, the arena features brightly coloured festival dragon cars which dart and manoeuvre at the whim of the junior drivers.

    14. Vintage Cars

    Take a road trip in 1920s vintage Ford replicas! Keep your eyes on the trees and see if you can spot a koala. 

    Kids Rides

    Wiggly fun and for all ages! If you are a young family with toddlers Dreamworld is the place for you. Check out our fantastic array of rides designed specifically for the little ones to enjoy.

    15. Dorothy's Rosy Tea Cup Ride

    Jump in a giant coloured tea cup then twist, twirl and sing along to some of your favourite Wiggles songs. It’s the wiggliest, giggliest tea party in the world and everyone is invited!

    16. Big Red Boat

    Hop aboard of the Wiggles second favourite form of transportation; the Big Red Boat! Have a Wiggly boating adventure and splish splash as your little ones rock about in a vessel full of friends!

    17. Play School Wheel

    Take a spin with your favourite Play School characters in the cutest ferris wheel in the world! Hop in a colourful carriage then swirl, turn around and sing along to some of your favourite ABC KIDS songs.

    18. Dronkey Flyers

    Take to the skies on the back of a dronkey (1/2 dragon 1/2 donkey) as Dragon teaches her little ones how to fly on this mini, mystical, merry-go-round.

    19. Shrek's Ogre-Go-Round

    Jump on board the Ogre-Go-Round as Shrek cranks up this wheel of fun. Choose between Donkey, an onion carriage or royal horse for a fairy-tale ride round and round.

    20. Puss in Boots Sword Swing

    Puss in Boots Sword Swing will have its riders en-guard as they spin through the air on a quest for adventure.

    21. ABC Kids World Fun Spot

    In this activity centre full of toys and games, kids can interact and play at their leisure. Plus, enjoy daily performances from your favourite ABC KIDS characters!
    The newly renovated parent’s room is close-by providing a convenient and comfortable space for feeding and changing.

    22. Bananas in Pyjamas Fun Maze

    Chasing teddy bears and your friends has never been this fun! Make your way through twists and turns through this maze with just enough height for fun and the watchful eye of carers. This play area is specifically designed for use by children up to 5 years.
