Very stable when I used it for my vacation in Hokkaido, better than physical SIM card as my companion was using it! It gave me face over this debate before our trip, lol. definitely recommend it and consider that u can select the data per day.

Amazing streaming speeds and network from SoftBank. Think no further as this e-sim experience will add to your convenience by being connected always in Japan. I simply the SoftBank experience.
I always used another deal with physical SIM cards on Klook. I had to go pick it up at the airport terminal and activate it. It gave me always some kind of stress because you need internet to go around in Japan. But now with the eSIM deal you can get 3gb per day in stead of 2gb before it turns into slow internet, because of the fair use policy, and it’s so easy to install. You can already activate it from your home country. So when you arrive, you immediately have internet access. My first day in Kyoto was a mega success. had good internet connectivity everywhere.
Very easy to follow the instruction. No need to carry anything like powerbank, no need to worry that it needs to be charged overnight so it can be used next day because its already installed in ur phone. U just need to scan the QR code that they will give you. So very very easy to use!
