I was their most of the day and found Japan Expo excellent. The Kimono competition, the dancing, tea ceremony, the cheer leaders were excellent. Klook spin the wheel was fun. The vendors had interesting products, I registered for most of the competitions and meet lots of nice people. you needed to be there for opening 10 am.
I give 5 stars for the amazing prizes!! But have to remove a star for the insane line up to get in & the amount of people in the venue. It was extremely overwhelming & impossible to see or do anything like sake tasting. Nowhere to sit & eat food (I later realised you could go outside in a small outdoor area), couldn’t see anywhere to just buy water or simple drink aside from green tea. I am so grateful for all the prizes I won, but I earned them in the mega queues!! If I had taken my daughter with me we’d have lasted 30 minutes. I’m very glad I left her at home!!
The Expo was so helpful in finding what we needed, being able to speak to a person about the JR pass was hugely beneficial and we were lucky to win a fee prizes thanks to Klook wheel that we are getting to use this year
It was just fun, and had all the little things I needed that I couldn't bring back from Japan! I honestly think you might need a bigger venue! looking forward to next year's! thanks JAL, ANA, sushi stores and all the SAKE!
I'm thrilled to be involved with the vibrant atmosphere of the Japan Expo! every moment is a celebration of Japanese culture. The colourful stalls and unique merchandise add to the excitement, making it a day filled with joy and discovery. Can't wait to explore Japan in the fantastic experiences!
A great way to explore Japanese culture, tourism and get information about your next trip
Gained a lot of insight on where to travel in Japan and how to get around. Great prizes and amazing performances.
Went in morning around 10am. Luckily we went out around that time because later you couldn’t walk. Got to try tea, fresh natto and soba noodles. Also got to try on a kimono on the first time. Spent 1 hour there. Overall good event but should be in bigger venue. Hopefully the event can be free next time
This was such a fun expo and I look forward to attending the next one! I loved that you could take unlimited chances at spinning the wheel. Due to its popularity, the expo was packed, I would say this wasn’t the best venue for the expo to be held at but I loved the festivities, content and information nonetheless. would go again 10/10 especially before going to Japan or in the early stages/middle of planning your itenerary!
There was a lot of interesting things in the festival. i enjoyed the kimono competition rounds. Also the tea ceremony is very nice. I got a lot of cute souvenirs from Japan and also a kimono. I tried cold soba noodles for the first time and it was very refreshing. The plum wine tasting was amazing. The Japan Expo has definitely been my favorite thing this year. Japanese people are very friendly, This expo makes me want to go to Japan!
