Reviews
The owner of the horse farm has good English communication skills and is very kind. Riding a horse in the forest and fields was very leisurely. It happened that it was cloudy that day, and it rained lightly at the end, so it was very cool. At the beginning, I did not practice in the racecourse. After getting on the horse, I briefly explained how to pull the rein to prevent the horse from eating the weeds on the roadside. I was afraid that the horse would be poisoned. I also pulled the rein back to stop, and then I was on the road. Halfway through, the owner of the racecourse said: "Lily (the name of the horse I'm riding), don't overtake the horse in front!" I thought I was telling the horse, but it turned out that he was telling me to control the horse, pull the rein slightly to make the horse slow One point, ha~ It was only after I started on the road that I realized that I had to spread my feet and pinch the horse's belly, so that the horse would start (I was afraid that the horse would start to run if the pinch was too strong, but I probably thought too much), although I didn't Training first, but it does not hinder the itinerary. When marching, there are 4 horses marching in a row, the owner follows the first horse, and the wife follows the next 3 or 4 horses. You can give them a mobile phone in advance and ask them to help take pictures and videos. After the experience, coffee, tea or sports drinks will be provided, rest outside the cabin, and there are 2 cute cats on site. It was a great experience, and the three generations, old, middle-aged and young, couldn't get enough of it!
Very interesting experience! I was a little nervous at the beginning because I was not used to riding horses, but then I got better and better. The coaches were a couple who led us at the front and back of the line. They also helped us take beautiful photos and videos. It was really satisfying! After the ride, we were treated to hot tea and there were cute cats around. It was a very happy time! And the weather is great!
Had a wonderful time horseback riding through forest streams and rice paddie fields. As a solo traveler, the tour guide K, and his wife were great vibes and made the memorable experience even better. The experience is one of the best bang for your bucks things I did while in Japan and I couldn’t recommend it more for someone looking to go horse back riding through the countryside of Japan. PS: There is one complaint I have and it’s I did what the instructions say to do and called ahead once I got to Ishioka station to tell them I was on my way to the pickup point, but never got a call back, and it wasn’t until calling multiple times at the pickup point did I eventually get ahold of someone. Still the experience was so worthwhile I can’t give it less than 5 stars. but if you are coming via train or bus I would make sure to call first thing in the morning or maybe even the day before. As I was worried that I was going to be stranded.
I have experienced horseback riding before, but this is my first time walking in the mountains and forests. The mountains in Ibaraki are beautiful, and you can feel it even more when you go to the mountains in person. The instructor is friendly and enthusiastic, and the horse training is friendly and well-behaved. Even people with no experience can easily experience the thrill of walking in the mountains and forests on horseback. However, the coach specifically asked us during the trip why we chose to go to Ibaraki in summer. After saying that there was no special reason, the coach told us that Ibaraki is beautiful in spring, autumn and winter, but there are too many mosquitoes in summer. It is recommended that we choose days other than summer to visit in the future. Oh, by the way, the cats and dogs in the store are so cute. I love this place.
The service is excellent, and there's staff to look after the riders.
