CHILDREN ON TOURS: Please notify us if you need car seat(s) / booster seats for any young children. Each child must have a seat and be assigned one of the 6 available seat/seatbelt positions. A maximum of 3 children can be accommodated if booters/child seats are needed for each. We are not set up for rear-facing child seats for infants. Children are not allowed to be seated on laps. LANGUAGES: Tours are conducted in English. WEATHER: Our tours run in fog, wind, and light/medium rain. Average summer temperatures are in the 50’s. All of our vehicles have blankets and ponchos aboard. Our top priority is passenger safety, so in the event of a huge rain storm, we will cancel the tour and provide you with a refund or reschedule. FAQ How many guests can seated in the Jeep? The Jeeps seat 6 people total plus the driver/guide. Jeeps are small vehicles - for everyone’s comfort we suggest 4 adult riders per Jeep plus 2 children / teens in the smaller 3rd row seating. Please -No Children or Infants under age 3 on any tour or charter. Please remember to bring the required car seat(s) for any young children. No children seated in laps. The 3rd row is great for older children (age 5 up) and teens. There is more wind in the last row of seats so it is not a great seating spot for young children.

Does the Jeep tour guide lead the tour inside Muir Woods? No, Muir Woods is an amazing self guided experience with well marked trails. The National Park Service does not allow outside guides to conduct tours inside the park. The tour guide will stay with the Jeep and be ready to depart for the next stop on your adventure.

Bonus Items: Attend a Tree Talk: 15-minute talks and guided one-hour tours are presented when staffing permits. Check the program board at the park entrance for times. No reservations are necessary. NOTE: There is NO cell phone service or WiFi at or around Muir Woods National Monument.

Do the Tours Ride Over the Golden Gate Bridge? Where do we stop? You will cross the Golden Gate Bridge as part of the tour route. Depending on traffic and parking lot closures we will stop at one of these amazing view spots. All are great for photos. With lots of stops, places to visit, and limited time there will not be time to walk out onto the bridge sidewalks.
