What to expect
Spend one day discovering the Nara area and Mt. Yoshino! First stop is Nara Park, a must-visit park in Nara. There are 1,700 different kinds of cherry blossoms in the park, including Nara Yae cherry blossoms, Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, mountain cherry blossoms, and more. Besides, the park has deer cracker stands where you can buy a pack of healthy crackers to feed the deer. The next stop is Todaiji Temple, a World Heritage Site. You can find the Great Buddha, and the aura of smaller bodhisattvas surrounding it will amaze you. Lastly, visit Mount Yoshino, also a World Heritage Site. You will find many shrines and temples that are more than 100 years old, including the 14th-century Imperial Palace and the 34-meter-high Zao Hall, and also a few mysterious figures of Shugendo believers

If you want to go and see Mt. Yoshinl for a day and hassle-free then this is so worth it. We were so lucky we got to see a lot of sakura treas and they are in full bloom, although some are starting to fall. There were a lot of food stalls along the main road and there’s also a spot where you could just chill and appreciate the view.
Tour was great! unfortunately Sakura season ended so we did not see much. But still there were some left so it was ok.
The time arranged during the World Heritage Yoshino Mountain trip is too short. If it can be longer, you can take a slow walk to the best scenic spots to take pictures
Locations were great! Guide can explain a bit more, for our understanding of the meanings behind each location
The time is too short to go to Shangsenbon and Okusenbon. You can change the time to Mount Yoshino... 🥲
