Kyoto & Nara Full-Day Tour: Kinkaku-ji, Todai-ji & Nara Park

The Kyoto - Nara day trip was a great way to see some of the highlights in both cities. Yuki-San, our guide, was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. It was very cool to be able to walk inside the Nijo-Jo castle and take pictures of the “golden pavilion”. The Nara deer are a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you have to see to believe as they come right up to you expecting a treat!

Our tour guide, Yuki, was excellent. She explained the cultural and historical details at all of the sights that we saw. I felt like we were on tour. She met all our expectations. This tour also included a western lunch. It was convenient to have a preset menu for time sake. Overall, , I would highly recommend this tour.

we had the best tour guide, Momo, and excellent & safe bus driver! Momo provided so much of Japanese history and culture that helped us appreciate the experience. Especially had fun feeding the deer at Nara Park!

The tour leader has a serious and friendly attitude towards his work. He has a clear understanding of the history and facilities of the attractions, his explanations are interesting, and he can share some knowledge about daily life in Japan. The entire itinerary is well arranged, saving you the trouble of traveling to and from the attractions by yourself! 😊

Definitely recommend this tour. KC was an amazing guide with a lot of passion about Japan culture. The itinerary was well paced with enough time to take photos and experience the places. Inspite of a big group, the guide kept them together. Please update the meeting point address on klook.

Highly recommended for someone new to Kyoto and Nara and wanted a quick one day tour to the main sightseeing landmarks. The guide, Ms Yumi was very experienced and friendly. She shared with us the history of Kyoto and Nara background of the places of interest and Japanese customs This tour is conducted as a small group of 4 persons.
