Coral Mountain & Halfmoon Reef Phu Quoc Snorkeling Tour by Speedboat

We went snorkeling with our children, and it was very thoughtful that they specially arranged for Tom, who speaks Chinese, to accompany us. He held our child's hand throughout the snorkeling experience, which made us feel very secure. The kids had a great time, and the equipment was excellent. The guides were very friendly, and the speedboat ride was incredibly exciting and fun. I highly recommend it to everyone!

We joined the afternoon snorkeling half-day tour. This tour is definitely suitable for those without much snorkeling experience, as the team provided excellent care, and all snorkeling equipment was included (even prescription dive masks were available 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻). The coral we saw while snorkeling was colorful and beautiful, though there were relatively fewer fish. The water was a bit murky in the afternoon; perhaps the morning tour would have been better.

Onbird, the snorkeling company, provided a comprehensive snorkeling plan before the trip. They proactively contacted us beforehand to inquire about participants' health and diving experience, and they adjusted the itinerary and notified us promptly based on weather conditions. On the day of the trip, they picked us up on time. There were 10 travelers, 4 staff members, and 1 driver in the vehicle. Initially, the instructor provided thorough snorkeling training in the shallow water, including how to wear the mask and snorkel and how to put on and take off fins. After ensuring everyone had mastered the basics, we took a speedboat to the designated snorkeling spot. At first, my daughter's mask kept leaking, and the instructor patiently adjusted it for her until the issue was resolved. The instructor even taught us how to blow bubble rings underwater, which was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the visibility was poor and the water was very murky that day, and the dive guide's camera ran out of battery, so we didn't get any snorkeling photos. However, we still saw some coral and small fish. We stopped at two dive sites and finally rested on an island with a lovely beach for taking photos. The sunset view was beautiful, and we could even see the distant cable car. Local juice and fruit were provided for enjoyment. The children loved playing in the water here. If you just want to wade in the sea, this activity is very relaxing, and the weather was great. However, the water in the afternoon was very murky, so those hoping to see many fish might be a bit disappointed. I recommend wearing long sleeves and long pants when you go out, as you'll be wading through water to get on the speedboat. Someone was stung by a jellyfish, and the instructor, being very professional, immediately administered first aid with mineral water and toothpaste. Iced mineral water was provided on the boat. Those prone to seasickness might want to take motion sickness medication beforehand. Although this tour was a bit pricier, it wasn't rushed, and the dive guide constantly paid attention to everyone's condition. This might provide more peace of mind for those with children or who are new to snorkeling. Thank you to Onbird's instructors for their friendly and professional service. I was very impressed by their strong advocacy for ocean-friendly practices, including promoting the use of coral-safe sunscreen and prohibiting feeding marine life. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time :) the tour guides were prepared and had great insight od the coral reefs they also plant corals and help them develop and grow which is nicecto hear. We had enough time to snorkel and saw some amazing things👌

we are a group of four. I don’t know how to swim and I chose this onbird agent 10pm small group because they can be more attentive and helpful. and ultimately, they are out performed . i am very moved they have one guy holding me all the time and I managed to see the real corals and reefs the very first time of my life. I have purchased the photo shooting package.but it needs 2-3 days. of course , I tipped them for their outstanding job . I highly recommend them.

This is a really high-quality tour for those who like snorkeling but don't know anything about it. The tour guide provides detailed instructions on how to use the equipment, and one tour guide accompanies small groups of 3-4 people, so you can feel very secure. The coral is absolutely beautiful 😍. The only downside is that the bathing and toilet area at the final stop is a bit dirty. Thank you to the 3 tour guides for giving me a wonderful experience.

It was absolutely amazing!! Even though the weather was sunny, the visibility under the sea wasn’t the best, but they still made sure we could enjoy the ocean views as closely as possible. Both tours went very smoothly, with just the right balance of safety—neither too strict nor too loose. On the last island, they served us delicious fruit, and we were able to relax while taking in the beautiful scenery. The price might be a little higher compared to other tours on Klook, but since it’s a small-group tour and the quality of the snorkeling experience is much better, I don’t think you’ll regret it at all!

John “The Tour Guide” was very helpful in everything. he is amazing. Snorkeling was an amazing experience and a great way to explore the ocean up close. The water was clear, making it easy to see colorful fish and coral reefs. It was relaxing but also exciting at the same time, and you don’t need much experience to enjoy it. The equipment was simple to use, and floating on the surface made it feel safe and comfortable. Overall, snorkeling is a fun and unforgettable activity that’s perfect for anyone who loves nature and the sea.

We scheduled our trip to the south on day 6, so we booked snorkeling late. I really wanted to go snorkeling right away, but due to our itinerary, I had to wait 5 days, and it felt like forever, haha! The transfer vehicles and speedboat were in great condition, and the guides were incredibly friendly! It was a small group, so the atmosphere was comfortable with just the right number of people. The masks and fins for snorkeling were also in excellent condition! If water seeped in because the fit wasn't quite right, they immediately fixed it for me! They were so meticulous and thorough, and they ran the schedule at a relaxed pace, so I had a fun and comfortable time! The fruit and drinks on the last island we visited were truly healing and beautiful. If I come back to Phu Quoc, I'll definitely go snorkeling with Onbird again! :)
