Phu Quoc 3 Islands Speedboat Tour: Mong Tay, Gam Ghi, May Rut Island

Itinerary: The tour guide will contact you one day in advance to confirm if you need to be picked up from the hotel. We boarded the bus at 9:30 AM. 🚤The boat takes you to the first spot where there is an optional, pay-per-use underwater sea walk. Those who don't participate can change into their swimwear and take the boat to the snorkeling area for snorkeling. 🚤At the second spot, you can go ashore to take photos and check in, and continue snorkeling. 🚤The third spot is an island where you have a free lunch (the dishes are very plentiful). After eating, there are many photo facilities on the island, such as swings. At the last island, you can enjoy yourself, swim, or participate in many optional water activities at your own expense. When the time comes, the tour guide will arrange for a free drone video to be taken (you can change clothes during this time) (we didn't receive the drone video; we sent a message to the tour guide but received no reply). Finally, the trip ends, and at 3:15 PM we took the boat back to shore, boarded the bus, and were taken back to the hotel. Tour Guide: The tour guide was great and explained the entire itinerary in English and the service was very attentive. Knowing that we didn't speak English, he would specifically translate for us separately. He was very humorous. Scenery on the Boat: The scenery was very beautiful, the sea was very clear, and the speedboat was traveling at a relatively high speed, so you don't feel seasick or shaking, except when the boat is stopped. If you sit inside, you may feel a little dizzy. You can take seasickness medicine in advance. Safety: Very safe

The first island is only for people doing the Sea Walker (for a fee), others can change and stroll around. The next island is directly into the sea from the boat. You can swim or rent a snorkel to see small fish. When the guide throws in snacks, the small fish gather. At the next island, you can also snorkel or land on the rocks to take pictures. Then lunch. Rice, shrimp, oysters, thick fried tofu, chicken, egg, water spinach, hot pot, and watermelon. It's usually shared among 4 people. Drone photography on the next island. It was described as a flycam while walking on the beach or a short video clip on a floating island, but it was only possible to create a composite photo of someone lying on a surfboard floating in the sea. I was looking forward to a video clip that wasn't available on other tours, so I booked this tour, but I was very disappointed. There were instructions for 2 poses for men and women, 2 photos per person. Data is transferred via smartphone communication or linked via WhatsApp. I received someone else's photo, so I had the correct photo resent to me. We arrived at the hotel at 16:00, which was an hour earlier than planned. I wanted to play in the sea a little longer. The stay on the island where the photos were taken was the longest, and deck chairs and showers were 50% off. The shower was 20,000 → 10,000 VND. I brought a tube, but I didn't use it.

Arrived at the hotel on time for pickup to the company, then transferred to another car to the pier. Passengers were picked up along the way. We hopped three islands in total. Lots of fish, beautiful coral, and the water was fairly clear. The tour leader, MU, gave clear instructions and the arrangements were good. Lunch was eaten on the last island, and it was filling. There were other restaurants where you could buy drinks. Haven't received the drone photos yet, hopefully I will, it was complimentary, so can't ask for too much. Left the island at 5pm on the return trip and arrived back at the hotel close to 7pm.

I would highly recommend this tour if you're interested in snorkeling and water sport activity. vegetarian food was provided during lunch. only thing they need to improve is on pick up and drop as same is not from hotel but a common place if you're staying in Sunset town.

Great guide. A total of 5 stops: 1. briefing and the opportunity to submerge or walk along the bottom with an aquarium on your head 2. snorkeling 3. snorkeling and the possibility to wander around the rocks 4. lunch and lots of photo opportunities 5. Snorkeling, lots of water sports (including jet skis). Everything at all the stops is paid, except for snorkeling and lunch. But it's definitely worth it. You can also bring a drone with you (the stop with snorkeling and the opportunity to walk on the rocks is best for filming on it).

A fun and enjoyable trip! I got to see the coral reefs while snorkeling, and the staff even caught sea urchins for us to eat right there. The only slight inconvenience was that the tour guide didn't speak Chinese, so we had to use a phone translator to communicate, but otherwise, everything was great.

Guide tour Emma is the best!!! She is soooo energetic and friendly, doing her best to keep us safe, cared and entertained. Captain Tony also very nice, he helped us to take dope photos and taught us to pose good poses! I went to 3 snorkeling and all was nice, saw fishes and beautiful reef. They even provide drone video and photo shots for free! All in all, very good experience and would recommend it to all.

The designated hotel pickup was great, and the tour guide was very responsible. The weather was bad that morning, so we waited for it to stabilize before departing. We took a small speedboat, so those who get seasick easily should consider this. Due to the poor weather, the island hopping scenery wasn't as beautiful. However, we thoroughly enjoyed the seafood buffet lunch. The drone footage at the end created wonderful video memories. The itinerary offered great value for money, highly recommended!

The snorkelling around Thom island and the other very good, calm sea and plenty of corals. The speedboat very fast transfer from one island to other. The lunch served was set of lunch with vegi, fish, hot pot, prawns and rice .

Dao was our guide. he is extremely hardworking and patient trying to coordinate several groups of tourists of different nationalities.. some nationalists have different demands.. He manage to take care of my whole group.. We are from Singapore and we do have some request too. He took care of the individual requests. he has settle almost 10 seperate groups... For example 4 of my folk wants to do sea walking and 2 of my old folks have sea sickness during snorkeling.. 1 of my folk fell with a cut and Dao responded almost immediately with firat aid kit.. We qill defonitely choose Johns Tour again because of the excellent service by Mr Dao our guide..
