Guenpin in Sapporo- Puffer Fish Specialist

I had a wonderful experience and my server was really nice. I had the daigo set which was too much food for me. I wanted to try the fried puffer fish and the smaller set didn't have it. I loved the fried and sashimi fish. I had the yuzu sorbet which was the perfect ending to the incredible meal. Definitely recommend this to anyone who's brave enough to overcome the psychological barrier. I also recommend getting the fresh peach juice.

The staff didn't speak much English, but they were still very enthusiastic in explaining the menu. When each dish was served, they also explained the ingredients and how to eat it. The service at this restaurant is excellent, and the food is great, though the flavors are a bit mild. Those who prefer stronger flavors might find it takes some getting used to.

the experience was nice, recommended to try pufferfish at least once since you are in japan. but likely won't spend again on a single meal (I'm more of a budget traveller) but no regrets for a first pufferfish experience! the amount of food was worth it, I think the daigo set is enough for most people (I was very full and barely managed to finish the rice porridge). I don't think I could finish if I got the tenraku set (which is add on of another dish of pufferfish bbq). my favourite dish is the fried pufferfish~ this chain restaurant is the most affordable among pufferfish places I found and the food is great.

It is recommended to increase the price by 300 yen and change it to "thick-cut sashimi". The puffer fish tastes extremely fresh and sweet, the puffer fish skin is very good, the thick-cut sashimi is delicious, and the aftertaste is sweet. The fried puffer fish that I didn't expect was unexpectedly delicious🐡The puffer fish hotpot looks It was very small, but I started to feel full at the end of the meal. The finishing touch was that the artemisia (?) was actually very fragrant👏🏻 I had puffer rice with two bowls, and my stomach was about to explode. Finally, I finished the dessert, perfect😍

The high-end tiger puffer fish is very delicious. It's easy to buy it on Klook and you can sit down and eat quickly. The service is very considerate and courteous and I am very satisfied.

The dining environment is comfortable, the service attitude is good, it is fast and convenient to show the voucher directly at the store, the puffer fish sashimi is very elastic, and the ice cream for dessert at the end is great!

Because I had an amazing and unforgettable impression after eating pufferfish on my first reservation, this was my second reservation, and it was still delicious!

I ordered the Xuan course. The appetizer's cold puffer fish skin is crunchy and chewy, a bit like kway tiao (?). Puffer fish is thinly sliced, and it is also quite chewy fish, not as crisp as fish belts. Puffer fish hot pot, compared to the previous two items, you can taste the light original taste of puffer fish (if it does not stick to the sauce), it should belong to the white meat fish with more elasticity and gelatin. It was good to eat puffer fish for the first time, but the clerk didn’t seem to know that the klook reservation had been charged in advance, and the meal fee was still charged at checkout. It seemed like the store manager came to help solve the problem~ But the service during the meal was very good👍

the food is good , but it hard to find the shop. i came from exit 4 hosui susukino ,then turn right when see intersection with traffic light then turn left go into the first entrance . the shop is oppposite the down stair on left hand . this price is for reserved table
