You can actually see dolphins, and there are a lot of them. It’s a one-hour trip and the CP value is very high, but the triangle is really far away. I should stay here for one night next time.
You can really see dolphins, and there are so many of them. The trip time is just right and very cost-effective. However, the location is really too far away. It is recommended to stay here for one night.
It will be more convenient if you drive yourself to the gathering place. It takes about 10 minutes by boat to reach the dolphin habitat, so you don’t need to worry too much about seasickness.
There are so many wild dolphins, so exciting, so enjoyable, a trip not to be missed, and they also give you beautiful stickers, which is very good
The chance of actually seeing dolphins is as high as 90%; the time is just right, and the boat is very big. The disadvantages are: the meeting point is difficult to find; I used Google Maps to navigate to find a strange place; I used the car navigation phone to navigate to a roadside stall, which turned out to be the boatman's reporting office. It is strongly recommended that the meeting point for boaters is located at the port service center where the boat is taken. It is easy to find and you can park and rest. Otherwise, foreign tourists like us who are not Japanese would be very uneasy when going to the gathering.
We didnt realise that the meeting point was 2.5 hours drive from our hotel in Kumamoto, so we quickly called them to change our meeting time from 10 am to 230 pm. They were willing to do so. The Dolphin Watching Center had its own restaurant, gift shop and toilets. When it was time, we were well organised into small groups of 10 people per boat which took us out to sea. The dolphins were everywhere and it was a wonderful experience!
Wonderful experience! We were running late and called the centre. Although the lady did not understand English, she tried her best to communicate and even made it possible for us to continue with the ride even though we will reach after the stated meeting time. We saw multiple pods of dolphins after driving out to the open oceans. Highly recommend this!
the most amazing experience ever and just being able to see the wild dolphins in their natural habitat is worth the trip already. we drove 2 hours from Kumamoto but it’s completely worth is. the skipper is experienced and dolphins aplenty! the instructions are easy to follow for foreign tourists as well, despite them speaking minimal English.
It is very convenient, there is already a record of going to the counter, no need to show any confirmation of identity, there will be drinks when you pick up the plane, and then you can drive to the center and wait for boarding. It took less than 10 minutes after departure to see dolphins, and then enter the area that is believed to be dolphins. There are so many dolphins!
The registration office is in a yellow pavilion opposite the dolphin center. The staff are very enthusiastic and serious in helping to find information. They take good care of everyone during the entire voyage. It is said that we saw a lot of dolphins in the offshore area. It was a very pleasant journey.
