This is one of the best trips I have ever been on. It was my first time kayaking, and the view was amazing. The tour guide was terrific and professional. We went through the river and also through the forest. I was nervous about the forest because of the snakes, and we saw one. The food was also good. I highly recommend this trip.
An Absolutely delightful experience. Very well organised, pickup and drop smooth and on-time, helpful guide, delicious food, and an unmissable experience. Thank you so much for such excellent memories.
We recently enjoyed a golden hour mangrove tour in Langkawi, and it was unforgettable thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Sabrina! Originally it was supposed to be a group tour, however, we ended up with a private experience, making it even more special. Sabrina’s enthusiasm for the environment and her knowledge of the mangrove ecosystem enriched our adventure. She was engaging and friendly, ensuring we felt comfortable and safe throughout the tour. The breathtaking scenery of the stunning mangrove forests and serene waterways was a highlight. Sabrina patiently answered our questions, helping us make the most of our experience. To top it off, we savored a delicious dinner prepared just for us at a floating restaurant, a lovely way to unwind and reflect on the day. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Langkawi! If you’re lucky enough to have Sabrina as your tour guide, you’re in for a real treat. Thank you for an incredible day!
The entire experience is carefully curated, from the pickup and return to hotel, to the guide patiently teaching us how to kayak for the first time while sharing her knowledge of the Kilim Geoforest. the dinner prepared was lovely and delicious. 100% recommend to nature lovers and kayak lovers!
The transfer from the hotel was very helpful. It's easy to catch grubs in Langkawi, but if you're late, it's a big deal, so I appreciate the transfer. After getting off the car, we took a boat to the fishing grounds. The boat was very popular with the children! The guide told us to take off our hats, and I thought it was a big deal, but it was really fast from the middle! I've never seen such a speed on a Japanese tourist boat, and it was exciting. When we arrived at the fishing grounds, we learned about the fish, and I learned that horseshoe crabs are edible. I didn't even know where the eyes were. They hand out bottles of water before we got on the kayak. They are glass bottles with rubber stoppers so that the plastic caps don't fall into the sea. The kayak is easy to ride, but you get a lot of water, so a swimsuit is a must. It's a two-seater. I got soaked by the water from the oar of the child sitting in front of me. We took a break along the way for about an hour and a half, and there were lectures on crab eagles, mangrove species and how they grow. It was a very meaningful and discovering trip. I highly recommend it. Thank you.
It was a great experience! I hadn't kayaked in a long time so needed some time to get used to steering but it was okay. It was so peaceful to kayak through the mangroves. We didn't see too many wildlife but maybe it's the weather. Nevertheless it's worth to be in nature. Our guide Yun was friendly and shared her personal experiences too. Communication with the tour agency was very prompt through WhatsApp. Lunch was not bad. Recommend to bring a change of clothes (something like drifit as there's no place to clean up properly). Your lower body and arms will surely get wet.
The transport provided was pleasant and safe. Our tour guide Nina, was very knowledgeable and welcoming. The highlight for me was eagle watching, and getting to experience kayaking through the narrower mangrove stream on the way back. The lunch provided was pretty good as well. Would recommend for those that love exploring nature
The experience was phenomenal with our enthusiastic guide Zack. It was relatively relaxing with beautiful mangroves to behold. The fried rice there is 😍😍 with the tomyam soup which we had to order 2x of :))
This was no doubt the highlight of our trip to Langkawi :) The people were warm, hospitable and down to earth - we had the pleasure of having Yan as our guide, who did a great job introducing to us the biodiversity and nature in the Park / Malaysia in general, and passionately answered my perennial questions (esp with his prior work background in the industry). We could feel how he personally felt for the Park and for the cause, including to remind us of the importance of conservation and being conscientious visitors of nature. We also appreciate him being kind and thoughtful in various ways, including striking a good balance between being present throughout the tour, and giving my partner and I space to explore and hold our own conversations as well. Staffs at Amin Floating Restaurant were kind and hospitable as well - bringing us a sumptuous meal and introducing the marine lives to us through a mini tour at the fish farm. Our driver, Hadi, was no doubt dedicated - he was punctual for both trips and even took the time to introduce the Eagle Square to us when we passed by Kuah. Not forgetting our ferry / speedboat driver as well, who was a young man with a kind demeanour. Thank you Alex and team for putting all of these together! Overall, not only were the views breathtaking and the tour fun, it was definitely an educational and thought provoking one as well, and we deeply appreciate the genuine, good humans who made this happen!
It was a hassle free arrangement, everything went smoothly, from booking to confirmation, to pick up services and the experience itself! Really recommend this activity! It’s a magical mangrove experience with kayaking. The guides were experienced and knowledgeable. They also ensure the safety of all participants. Guide Zack is particularly amazing! Could feel his passion for the work he is doing! If you’re up for a kayaking adventure, try this!
