We had such a great time at the ramen and gyoza cooking class! It was a fun and hands-on experience for the whole family, and our instructors made everything easy to follow and really enjoyable. The food turned out delicious. Highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a unique and memorable activity in Tokyo!
It was a great experience, Yoshi and Amo are super friendly and well communicated hosts. The reason I chose this class is that there are nothing too fancy, but just two simple, down-to-earth persons sharing their love - teaching and showing the craftsmanship of making ramen. I can also feel their joy when they shared about foods, life, travels and stuff. Thank you for giving us such a unique experience :)
One of our favorite experiences in Japan! Yoshi and Amo were so friendly and welcoming. We learned a lot of feel excited to try making ramen and dumplings at home in the future. Chec Yoshi uses a pork broth but did let me know he can do chicken only if guests don’t eat pork. Thank you again for having us :)
If you want to have a unique experience in Tokyo, I recommend it! The class is conducted in Japanese or English. If you are not good at the language, it may be a bit difficult to understand. However, it does not require a high level of difficulty, and you can understand it with gestures! The owner couple ran a ramen restaurant abroad and returned to Tokyo due to COVID-19. They teach very kindly. They also play games in between to make the class more enjoyable. Making ramen with your own hands is an amazing experience. I felt that they were very attentive to the needs of customers, such as allergies, unfavorable ingredients, and pregnant women, and responded accordingly. If you like ramen, take this class :)
Excellent experience with chef Yoshi and his wife. The lesson was well prepared, very informative and we ended up eating lovely food. We were able to book two vegetarian and two meat options, highly recommended!
what a lovely way to end our few weeks in Japan. such a lovely, knowledgeable, accommodating couple. the place was very serene and made the learning feel more like hanging out with friends. the ramen was delicious and we can’t wait to try the recipe with our friends when we get home. if you are looking for something different to do and are considering this class- do it. it was one of our favorite activities. we wish we could have stayed longer!!
Yoshi and Amo were absolutely amazing. The class was by far our favourite experience in Japan. The attention to detail and hospitality were outstanding. The ramen broth was delicious. we couldn't recommend this more highly to anyone!
Yoshi and Amo were wonderful instructors for this class, they not only taught us how to make delicious ramen and gyoza, but they made the class super fun and informative. We’d recommend this activity for all ramen / gyoza lovers! We have even made gyoza already since returning to Australia and it was just as fabulous as in the class. 😄
This ramen class was a highlight for us during our stay in Tokyo! Ano was so kind to meet us at the station and we were welcomed so warmly at their home. Ano and Yoshi patiently explained every step of the making of Ramen and Gyoza and gave us a lot of tips for our try-at-home. The steps were easy to follow and both were close constantly if somebody needed help. It was such a fun experience and of course the food was amazing!
One of our highlights in Japan! Amo and Yoshi were incredibly accommodating, made sure everyone was involved, and created such a warm, friendly atmosphere. They really took the time to connect with us, and it felt more like cooking with friends than being in a class. Highly recommend!
