Hokkaido: Private Snow Buggy Experience with Bonfire & Lounge
- Only one group per time slot — the entire snowfield, buggies and campfire are exclusively yours
- Safer than a resort snow park: no skiers or snowboarders sharing the field with your children
- Complimentary winter gear for everyone — jacket, trousers, helmet, gloves and goggles, so pack nothing
- Ride a guide-led 4WD buggy through the forest, then roast marshmallows beside a real campfire
- Free hotel pickup from Kitayuzawa Onsen, and only 30 minutes by car from Lake Toya
- A heated indoor lounge on site, so young children can warm up whenever they need to
What to expect
Only one group is booked per time slot, so the snowfield, the buggies, the campfire and the heated indoor lounge belong entirely to your family for 90 minutes. After a short safety briefing you change into complimentary winter gear, so there is nothing to buy or pack. The experience opens with Silent Time: phones off, three minutes standing on untouched snow with nothing but wind and falling flakes. Then dive headfirst into deep powder for a photo session before your private play time begins. Ride a guide-led 4WD buggy through the forest, build a kamakura snow hut, race down the snow slide, or roast marshmallows and sausages over the fire in any order you like. Warm up indoors whenever you want. No ski experience needed, and no skiers rushing past your children.
