• Yunnan is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, with a large daily temperature difference (12-15 degrees Celsius). Please check the local weather conditions before your trip, pay attention to your attire, and consult the local weather forecast. Please bring enough warm clothing. Yunnan has strong sunlight and intense UV radiation. For prolonged outdoor activities, please wear a sun hat, sunglasses, and apply sunscreen to protect your skin. The weather can be unpredictable, so please carry rain gear.
• Yunnan has high mountains and steep slopes, with strict speed limits. The altitude of the travel destination is relatively high, and the oxygen content in the air is low. Therefore, when going uphill, the tourist vehicle speed is sometimes only 20-30 yards. We hope for your understanding.
• Yunnan is a minority ethnic region; please respect the religious and living customs of the local ethnic minorities.
• The economic development in the Yunnan region lags behind, and the scale and facilities of hotels of the same star rating are inferior to those in the Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions. Some newly built hotels with better facilities are generally located on the outskirts of the city, about a 15-20 minute drive from the city center (unless there are special circumstances). Due to the unique climate of Yunnan, hotel air conditioning is either timed to operate or not available during winter. If additional bedding, electric blankets, etc., are needed, please ask the hotel staff.
• Lijiang has a high altitude, so please pay attention to rest to prevent altitude sickness; people with heart disease, high blood pressure, and other conditions should be cautious. Please prepare some personal common medicines for emergencies.
• Yunnan is a multi-ethnic province, where local cuisine is mainly sour and spicy, with a predominance of cold dishes; tour group meals are generally for 10 people per table. Yunnan's diet differs significantly from other provinces and may not suit your taste, so please be mentally prepared. The local soil and water are weakly acidic, so it is recommended to drink more tea. When traveling, visitors must carry valid identification documents. Individuals under 16 years old must carry the original household registration booklet or a valid household registration certificate, and infants must carry a birth certificate.
• When purchasing tourist souvenirs and local specialties, be careful not to casually touch displayed samples to prevent accidental damage; merchants in the ancient city sometimes sell counterfeit goods, so please be careful when making selections.
