Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge & Tianmen Mountain Tour

Fantastic day tour to Tianmen Mountain and the Glass Bridge. Our guide impressed us with great professionalism. His English was fluent, and he knew every corner of the scenic spots very well. Everything ran smoothly from hotel transfer to sightseeing arrangements. Instead of simply showing us landmarks, he brought vivid background stories for each attraction. The small group size offered a relaxing journey. We didn’t need to worry about logistics at all. Worth every penny!

We booked the one-day tour covering Zhangjiajie Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain, and it turned out to be an incredible experience. Our guide was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He fully understood the scenic layout, chose better routes to avoid crowds, and shared detailed introductions about local geography, culture and legends. The hotel pick-up and drop-off were punctual, and the whole schedule was well-organized without rushing. He patiently recommended perfect photo spots and reminded us of important safety tips. It saved us huge trouble on tickets and transportation. Highly recommend this tour if you visit Zhangjiajie!

This tour was such a wonderful surprise! Many thanks to Della for her attentive guidance. The itinerary was well-planned with no extra travelling. We experienced Via Ferrata, rock climbing, cable car rides and Tianmen Mountain with breathtaking views. After rain, clouds floated under our feet — absolutely stunning! I was scared of the glass skywalk, but Della encouraged me and I overcame my fear. We watched a great local cultural show in the evening, and she treated me to tasty local strawberry ice cream. She is an excellent local guide! We also met monkeys and took photos. It took around 1.5 hours to drive from the Glass Bridge to Tianmen Mountain. If I’d travelled independently, I could only visit one spot. I’m so lucky to choose James’s travel team, making my trip perfect!

Perfect packed one-day tour hitting both Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge and Tianmen Mountain, totally worth the long day. Our English-speaking guide was super thoughtful and planned the route smartly to skip the worst crowds. The glass bridge was such a thrilling experience with amazing canyon views. Later we headed to Tianmen Mountain, rode the famous long cable car, walked the cliff glass skywalk, and stood under the huge Tianmen Cave gate. We even got lucky with mist rolling over the mountaintop after light rain, it looked like we were standing above clouds. The driver was safe and punctual, transfers between two scenic spots were smooth even with the one-hour drive. No rushed unnecessary detours or shopping stops at all. The guide cheered me up when I felt nervous on the glass path, took tons of great photos for us too. If you only have limited time in Zhangjiajie, this combined day trip is the best pick. Highly recommend!

We had a great day in Zhangjiajie. Our tour guide Tom was excellent. He picked us up in the morning, organised the whole day and had great facts about the things we were seeing. It is a lot to do in one day but Tom made sure we were on schedule and even gave us a framed picture that was taken during the tour at the end. I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you Tom for a great day!
