We had the most amazing experience on our Mount Cook tour with Raghav! From start to finish, everything was incredibly smooth, well-organised and so much fun. He made the long drive feel effortless with his friendly personality, great stories and helpful local tips. We had plenty of scenic stops for photos and never felt rushed, which made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. Raghav was also very attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time.
our guide was good, he had plenty of trivias along the way about the different places we were visiting which kept the whole trip interesting. And at the end of the trip, he asked some questions about his trivias to check if we were listening to him. On the way to the first spot, we had a food stopover, make sure to get your lunch there cause there won't be along the whole trip except in the end. The places we visited were nice, just really unlucky cause it was raining pretty hard but the guide encouraged us to still take the trail walks and hikes. The hikes were ok. On the way back, we enjoyed the salmon farm stopover. The salmon was very fresh. there was a last stopover which was a small market with some snack foods but we didn't get anything there.
Starting and ending in Queenstown, this tour is perfect for visitors staying in Queenstown. Both Mount Cook and the Tasman Glacier require a 1-2 hour hike, so it's best to pack light, bringing only water and your phone or camera. It's quite enjoyable to combine sightseeing with some hiking and exercise, even if it's a bit tiring. On the way back, we stopped at a high-altitude salmon farm and had a box of fresh salmon that melted in my mouth – I really miss it. There was ample time at each stop for restroom breaks, photos, and snacks, which made the whole experience very comfortable.
Had the best time on this tour. We saw various scenic lookouts, lakes, mountains and beautiful walks in the national park. Our guide (Dean) was very knowledgeable, charismatic, and I felt safe with his expert driving. Everything ran very smoothly despite experiencing rain for half the day. The visit to the salmon farm was lovely and there were many options to buy salmon dishes at the Restaurant which were fresh and delicious. Can’t recommend this tour enough.
I had an amazing experience on the Mt Cook & Tasman Glacier Viewpoint tour from Queenstown! Our guide, Hannah, was absolutely wonderful—very friendly, approachable, and incredibly informative throughout the trip. She made the long drive enjoyable by sharing interesting insights and fun facts, and she managed the time perfectly so we could make the most out of each stop without ever feeling rushed. The views of Mt Cook and the Tasman Glacier were breathtaking, and everything was well organized from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Hannah as your guide!
Despite the miserable weather, this experience still deserves more than 5 stars. Shura was a fantastic guide—very helpful, caring, and reassuring, especially while we were all soaked. She also adjusted the itinerary thoughtfully to suit the weather, which we really appreciated. She has an easygoing, friendly vibe that made everyone feel comfortable. Even with the weather not cooperating, she kept things enjoyable with interesting “did you know” moments and created a great sense of camaraderie among the group.
We had a fantastic Mount Cook day tour today with Joseph as our driver and guide. He made a very long day feel smooth and enjoyable, keeping the journey comfortable with his calm driving, clear explanations, and thoughtful timing for every stop. Jo shared interesting stories about the lakes, mountains, and small towns along the way, giving us context that really enriched the scenery. He also managed the schedule well so we had plenty of time at the key viewpoints — especially around Lake Pukaki and Aoraki/Mount Cook — without ever feeling rushed. You can tell he genuinely cares about the experience of his guests. Even with the long travel time, his professionalism, patience, and sense of humour made the whole tour feel relaxed and memorable. A big thanks to Jo for making today’s Mount Cook trip so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!
We had the best time today and our tour guide Shu was very enthusiastic and gave us lots of information. I highly recommend to do this tour. Great value of money and time. love from Lisa and Ross.
Sonya is great, she is warm, full of energy, very friendly and approachable, also she is very informative about our trip all activities today. Everything is well organized and she also encouraged us to make new friends in this trip. I do have a great trip today. thanks Sonya❤️
Our guide and driver, Jeff, was excellent. He arrived early, provided multiple explanations throughout the trip, was humorous and witty, and repeatedly asked for our opinions and needs. He also prepared a lot of snacks and drinking water. I was the only Chinese person in the group, and my English is not very good, but Jeff and the other members of the group were very friendly and proactively communicated with me. Overall, the itinerary and experience were fantastic.
