Kyoto: Fushimi Momoyama Castle & Jikkokubune Boat Ride & Sewaritei & Ninnaji Temple Omuro Cherry Blossom Viewing Day Trip (Osaka/Kyoto Departure)

I had such a great experience booking through Klook, and it was made even more special because of our guide, Ms.Mia, She was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. Mia explained everything clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. You can really tell she’s passionate about what she does—she shared interesting insights and stories that made the experience much more meaningful. She was also very attentive, always checking if we were okay and making sure everything ran smoothly. Because of her, the whole trip felt well-organized and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Mia as your guide. Thank you for making the experience memorable!

I'm not sure if anyone has experienced what we went through for this tour but here's my say in my experience, we'll start with the bus we were picked up in. it was a very small bus now I understand that there were only 20 of us but I had to squeeze into my seat where the wheel is I cannot imagine if it was a tall person, I'm 150cm and it was uncomfortable for me. Next since this experience was spilt between those who wanted to ride the boat and those who were going to visit Momoyama castle we had the misfortune of not being able to get into the castle because it was closed. How is it possible for a tour group to not know the opening dates for the castle they were bringing people to is beyond me, so you can imagine the disappointment my group was when we were stranded there while our tour guide was trying to find answers. So I recommend we take some photos and try to salvage whatever feel we can get and make way back to the boat. Guess what, the tickets for the boat was out of stock.

The tour is unforgettable! The tour guide is very accomodating and imformative. The cherryblossoms are so pretty.

On March 28, we participated in the Kyoto: Fushimi Momoyama Castle & Jikkokubune Cherry Blossom Viewing Day Tour. We were fortunate to catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Although we couldn't get tickets for the Jikkokubune boat, walking along the river and admiring the cherry blossoms up close was still incredibly beautiful. Our tour guide, Mia, was very professional, taking care of every traveler, especially the elderly, with great attention to detail. She even answered other questions about traveling in Osaka. She deserves a five-star rating! 👍👍

The meeting point was quite a walk from the pick-up location, and I overheard some foreign group members asking if it was a walking tour. One of the planned activities was the Jikkokubune boat ride, but when we arrived, the tickets were already sold out. The tour guide should have known this is a common occurrence and booked the tickets for us! We then had to go to Momoyama Castle, but it turned out to be closed. The tour guide seemed unfamiliar with the local situation. At this point, two groups of foreign tourists were very unhappy and decided to leave the tour! The tour guide didn't introduce any of the attractions or their history; they just dropped us off and told us the meeting time! Fortunately, the cherry blossoms at the attractions were in full bloom and absolutely beautiful!

I really had an amazing experience thanks to our amazing tour guide Zhaozhao. I will recommend this experience to anyone. Traveling to Japan has been the best life experience.

the tour guide is nice and we had a good experience

It was our guide’s first tour, he was friendly and kind. We consider he could have provided more information (recommendation of places to have lunch, information about the area, etc.). Ninnaji Temple is on the Northern part of Kyoto and it’s one of the latest areas to bloom so it didn’t make a lot of sense to be on the Southern area for the boat ride and the walk where the sakura are in full bloom and then move to the other side of the city where the sakuras will still take some time. It is a nice opportunity to get to know other places in Kyoto.

We managed to catch the cherry blossom season inthis trip. This is definitely a plus point

Although the cherry blossoms weren't in bloom, our tour guide Wang Ping provided excellent service.
