Many visit the city of Portugal and head straight to the National Palace of Pena and Sintra. But before you leave the country, make sure to add a stop at the Park and Palace of Monserrate. Book this ticket via Klook and visit the palatial villa that was rebuilt and designed by Englishmen Gerard de Visme, William Thomas Beckford, and Francis Cook. Admire its eclectic design with a mix of influences from gothic, Indian, and Moorish inspiration and a touch of Islamic architecture. Once you’re done being in awe of the palace’s remarkable exteriors and ornate interiors, head to its lavish park that is home to various plants sourced from all over the world! Here, you’ll see a mix of yuccas, palm trees, ferns, and even azaleas and bamboos obtained from countries including Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand. You’ll surely fall in love with Portugal even more when you visit the Park and Palace of Monserrate.

Like this place so much, not so many tourists and many spots for photography.
One of my favourite places in sintra! Not a lot of tourists and a lot of beautiful spots! The garden is well preserved and it’s perfect to have a sun bath there.
Awesome and hassle free entry! It’s definitely time saving especially if you’re visiting during peak seson like weekends.
