Reviews
I joined this tour during my solo trip to Hokkaido, and it was one of the best experiences of my trip. I originally chose the Biei Light-up Tour because I couldn’t book a Furano tour, but it turned out to be an amazing surprise. I was impressed by Blue Pond, the beautiful rolling hills, Shirahige Falls, and the colorful flower fields at Shikisai no Oka. The lavender ice cream was delicious too! A big thank you to our guide, Ms. Wakana, who was sweet, kind and patient throughout the day. She made the tour smooth and enjoyable!
Really enjoyed this tour! Big thanks to our guide Wakana (hope I got her name right), she was super kind and took great care of everyone. Loved visiting the snowy Biei spots, the timing was perfect to enjoy both daytime scenery and beautiful night views.
We booked this tour for a more relaxed itinerary and hoped to avoid the crowds. it is a “hurry up and look” tour but I felt like I had enough time to see, photograph, and film everything. We also had a few stops along the way for breaks. It’s worth heading outside of Sapporo to see the countryside. just looking out the bus windows is part of the adventure! Our guides were so friendly and attentive helping us find the best spots to avoid the crowds. Unfortunately our bus had a mechanical issue (a first for everyone, including the tour guides) who scrambled to make sure we all made it back to Sapporo (via train) safe and sound. I bring this up only to let you know you’re in good hands for anything that can happen. thanks to Baku and team!
Super chill tour with a really nice guide and clear communication! Loved the late departure since it felt way more relaxed than other tours. Everything was easy, no rush at all. Luch spot the guide introducded us is nice as she pre-ordered the meal for us and save the wait time. The Blue Pond night view and the light up tree was sooo pretty, def the highlight!
Such a great Biei trip! We had two amazing tour guides who were super nice and made everything fun and smooth. We were lucky with perfect weather, so all the spots looked even more stunning. The group was also really enjoyable, which made the whole trip even better. Honestly, everything just clicked, couldn’t have asked for a better tour.
I usually plan DIY trips, so this was a very last-minute decision—especially since I had just come from a concert the night before. The late departure made it perfect, and I’m really glad I went for it. There were only two guests (myself and another Korean traveler), so it felt more like a trip with friends than a typical group tour. The guides, Baku-san and Kim-san, were incredibly fun to spend time with and made the experience even more enjoyable. Being in such a small group gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop at a relaxed pace. We had Hokkaido’s soup curry at King Bear—it was so good—and also got to see the “Arashi Tree,” which turned out to be just close to the Christmas Tree. Thank you so much for adding this stop! Before heading to the Blue Pond, we also made a side trip to an onsen (森の雫 RIN). The Jersey milk soft cream there was absolutely to die for. I had a really great time and am already looking forward to next summer in Hokkaido!
I had a wonderful Biei tour with Guide Park In-deok and three Japanese guides who spoke excellent Korean. I felt so sorry that the number of guests and guides was the same. They worked so hard to show us great spots, took our pictures, and even recommended good restaurants. I'm very satisfied and grateful. Please stay healthy until my next visit. Thank you for giving me such a special day.
I visited in the summer a few years ago, but this was my first time in Sapporo in the winter, and I really got to see a lot of snow!! The weather was a little cloudy, but since there was so much snow piled up, it all turned out fine with some editing. The Christmas tree was better than I expected. I only went thinking about Mild Seven Hill and Shirahige Falls, but the guide said that this was also a place where you could take pretty pictures, so I was able to take a lot of pictures! Thank you so much to the guide who took such good care of us until the end of the tour, and it was a satisfying tour :)
Our small group of 14 made for a very relaxed and enjoyable one-day tour. The late start was definitely a plus, and we visited six fairytale-like scenic highlights. We had a wonderful experience with Our Story—thank you for such an excellent and well-organised tour! Thank you both the tour leaders and the driver... thanks for your hard work. 😊
Everything was perfect! This was my first time with private tours, but it was enjoyable because it wasn't intrusive, and we chose it partly for the 9:30 AM departure. I would have only re-evaluated some of the timings. For example, we spent 25 minutes at the waterfalls, but 15 minutes would have been enough, and I would have adjusted the time spent at the Blue Pond and Tomita Farm. Overall, everything was very nice! The guide was also super lovely! I recommend it!
