Featherdale and Scenic World Blue Mountains Tour with Korean Guides

I went on a tour with Guide Jayden! I searched high and low for an affordable tour and was a bit hesitant when booking, but I'm so satisfied. My Sydney itinerary was tight, so I only did a half-day tour, but it felt like a great choice because he filled it so well. 👍🏻 He explained things at every stop and told many funny jokes, making sure there were no awkward moments. The tour was packed, but we never felt rushed, and there was plenty of free time. And the photos? He took so many beautiful, passionate shots! If my parents visit Sydney in the future, I'll definitely book them on a tour with Guide Jayden!!

I was worried because it rained the day before, but luckily the weather was beautiful on the day of the tour. Our first stop was Featherdale Wildlife Park, and since we arrived right at opening, the koalas were awake, which was great. We got to see them eating eucalyptus quite a bit! We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a restaurant recommended by our guide, Moses, and then headed to the Blue Mountains. We opted not to include Scenic World to avoid long lines, but we didn't regret it at all, as all the viewpoints offered spectacular scenery. At the last viewpoint, our guide took some lovely photos for us, which was a nice touch. It was also informative to hear explanations about Australia from our guide during our travels. The tour was as satisfying as I had hoped!

I am Japanese. Even though it was a Korean-language tour, they kindly guided us in English, which made us feel very comfortable participating in the tour and allowed us to have a wonderful experience. Our guide was very friendly and kind. The tour content was also excellent, and we got to see koalas, quokkas, wombats, and kangaroos, all animals I wanted to see in Australia! The scenery at the Blue Mountains was also very beautiful. Our guide took many photos for us, helping us create great memories. We were able to fully enjoy the tour and still return to Sydney by 5 PM, so we could continue to enjoy sightseeing in Sydney afterward. This tour is truly highly recommended!!

I had a wonderful Blue Mountains tour with our guide, Jaden! The alternative spot to Lincoln's Rock was beautiful, and the panoramic views of the Blue Mountains were absolutely stunning. I booked just one day in advance, and it was definitely worth every penny. Jaden even took videos and photos for us, which made the trip even more enjoyable. It was also fantastic to see quokkas, wallabies, kangaroos, birds, crocodiles, and many other Australian animals at Featherdale Wildlife Park!

I arrived in Sydney and it was raining, so I checked the weather and booked this tour a day in advance. On May 31st, I went on a tour to Featherdale Wildlife Park, the Blue Mountains, and Scenic World through Zigzag Travel. The weather was fantastic, and we had a clear view of the Three Sisters. Visiting the wildlife park in the morning was great, as the koalas, wombats, kangaroos, and quokkas were very active. Guide Kim Tae-hwan's detailed explanations made the trip even more enriching. The legends of the Three Sisters and the stories about eucalyptus trees and bushfires were also very interesting. I would have regretted it if I hadn't visited the Blue Mountains. The weather there is colder than in the city, so it's a good idea to dress warmly. We were able to complete the tour safely from start to finish.

This was our second time to the Blue Mountain. The tour was as described except for the Lincolns Rocks was closed by the government. It was a great trip. Despite the occasional showers, the weather was better than expected. We even saw a big rainbow at Echo Point which made this trip even more special. The tour guide Mose was nice, responsive and caring. Though it's Korean conducted tour, Mose sent out notifications in English to each group about every important announcement. He brought us to a special observatory point which I haven't visited last time. Overall I'll recommend this tour.

Friday, August 7th The Featherdale Wildlife Park + Blue Mountains tour with our young guide was truly satisfying. First, Featherdale Wildlife Park, though not large, was wonderful because we could see Australian native animals up close and even feed them, allowing for direct interaction. The children also had a special experience seeing and touching the animals up close 🐨🦫🦘 Afterward, the itinerary that continued to the Blue Mountains was also excellent. Thanks to our guide's comfortable driving, witty explanations, and kind guidance, even the travel time was enjoyable. The tour tips shared along the way were also a great help for our trip 😆❣️ The weather cooperated, allowing us to see magnificent scenery, and it became a happy memory for our entire family. Thank you.

The meeting point is the road parking lot, where Koreans gather. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour thanks to Young, our guide, who shared various interesting facts and explanations. If you visit Leura Village, many people go to Cafe Leura, but I recommend trying Sparrow Leura for their flat white, avocado, and sausage roll – they're very fresh. I've attached some photos. The sky was gloomy in the morning, but surprisingly, we saw blue skies when we arrived at the Blue Mountains (kudos to Young, our guide, for meticulously adjusting the schedule!👍). The sun was so bright that it was hard to keep my eyes open due to the backlight, but I still took many landscape photos. The walking trail can be a bit challenging, but I highly recommend it. After visiting the Three Sisters, you can just sleep on the bus ride back, which departs right on time.

Although I initially opted out of Scenic World, I requested to join before arriving at the site, and I'm so glad I did! Our Young Guide drove so smoothly that I was able to sleep soundly during the car ride. The zoo was also wonderful, and thanks to the itinerary that allowed us to experience Queen Elizabeth's beloved Echo Point on foot, I truly enjoyed it!

Everyone arrived at the morning meeting point about 10 minutes early, and we happily set off for Featherdale Wildlife Park. Inside the vehicle, our guide, Kim Tae-young, provided a very detailed explanation of Australian history and our itinerary for the day, making the 45-minute drive to the zoo fly by. Featherdale Wildlife Park wasn't huge, but it had a variety of truly cute animals that are native only to Australia. Our family's top pick was the small, adorable wallaby. Everyone was captivated by how they held our arms with their tiny, charming hands while eating the food we offered. We took photos and had a wonderful time. We skipped Scenic World and instead enjoyed a cup of coffee while taking family photos. In Leura Village, we cleansed our slightly queasy stomachs, which had been feeling a bit heavy from Australian food, with kimchi stew and soft tofu stew. While exploring Leura Village, my daughter found a silver necklace she liked, and we bought it with a 10% discount. Afterward, we visited two Blue Mountains photo spots, spending time freely admiring the magnificent scenery. Around 3:15 PM, we departed for downtown Sydney, arriving after about 1 hour and 40 minutes. I'd like to thank Guide Kim Tae-young once again for taking wonderful photos of each traveler posing at the Blue Mountains and for providing truly kind guidance throughout the entire trip. It was such a happy time. P.S. If you have a tumbler, it's a good idea to fill it with water before you leave. We bought a bottle of water at a store there for about $5.50, and I couldn't help but wonder if that was really necessary, haha.
