Shanghai Zhujiajiao Water Town & Film Park Historical Tour

very nice experience, just ample time to go strolling on our own, tour guide speak basic english, but sufficient info shared in we chat, so we never got lost. We are family of 3 with a 7yo kid, she had a great time. With that price, I think it’s really a great experience 👍🏼

Exciting tour at film park city with everything so surreal but is fake, especially the war-damaged buildings. Movies like Death to Rights and Kung Fu Hustle were filmed here. Lunch under own expense at Zhujiajiao and very pricey meals so just order the cheapest and get more street food outside.

Had an amazing tour today covering the Shanghai film park and zhujiajiao water town. itinerary gave ample time to explore both places and tour guide gave great instructions on where to gather and where to go /explore. Excellent mix of guided and free to roam.

First off, the tour guide genuinely wants to help you feel welcome and does well in keeping the tour moving and engaging. The tour guide is super friendly and knowledgeable. The trip is very well organized. The Shanghai Film Park features film sets from iconic Chinese films. The second stop takes you to ZhuJiaJiao which is a historic sub-rural town by the river. The lunch spot is fantastic and there's so much to see and learn. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Shanghai area.

This is for the trip on 08/28/25. If you are into how the scenaries in the Chinese movie or TV series are created, then you will definitely like this trip that gets you to the Shanghai Film Park. It includes the admission fee that gets you to the scenaries of the movie 南京照相馆 (Dead to Rights) You will see all of the little details of the bombed buildings. I think this itself totally worths the price of this trip. Zhujiajiao ancient town is also worthy to visit. It has a lot nice ancient bridges that cross the river and scenaries can't be beat. The tour guide is informative and responsbile to make sure all of the tour members get in on time and leave on time. Punctuality is very important because if the bus leaves late due to a tour member gets lost or something, the entire tour bus will get stuck in traffic and it creates unnecessary delay for every tour memeber. I appreciate the entire trip is on time and doesn't have any unexpected delays.

I was very satisfied with today's itinerary. Although it was 35 degrees Celsius, it didn't change my desire to visit and tour. Our tour guide, Mr. Sun, thoughtfully and patiently introduced and explained the history of each attraction. He was also very concerned about our condition in the high temperature, for which I am very grateful. I was very fortunate to be able to visit the filming location of "Nanjing Photo Studio" while visiting Shanghai Film Park. Although there was only 15 minutes of visiting time, the scene in front of me really made me feel the situation of war at that time. In addition, the scenery of Zhujiajiao in summer is very beautiful, with its bridges, flowing water, and leisurely enjoyment of a boat ride, which is truly delightful. The old alleys have various stalls and unique snacks, which are really worth a visit. It would be even better to go in the cool autumn.

I was extremely satisfied with my recent historical tour of Zhujiajiao Water Town and Shanghai Film Park, and I wholeheartedly give it a five-star recommendation! Zhujiajiao Ancient Town boasts beautiful scenery, full of the charm of a Jiangnan water town, while the Film Park is also very unique, making you feel as if you've traveled back in time to old Shanghai. The transportation was comfortable and convenient, offering great value for money overall. I am very grateful for Xiao Sun's thoughtful care and professional service, which created many wonderful memories on this trip. My wife and I booked the day trip 8pm one day before the planned trip. Your operator was prompt in responding and providing the contact of your guide Miss Sun. Miss Sun was prompt and clear with instructions to meet. She met us earlier in our hotel lobby which was right next to the designated meet up point. Miss Sun was very knowledgeable both of the sights as well as the current affairs/history of China. The private transfer provided was clean and spacious. Our driver was safe throughout the drive. Our visit both to the Shanghai film park and zhujiajiao was thoroughly enjoyable. Miss Sun gave as detailed explanation, offered good advice on purchases and photo oops during the trip.
