Jisan Forest Ski & Snowboard Day Tour from Seoul

This day trip skiing was very worthwhile. The Korean instructor and guide, SUN, speaks Chinese, which is reassuring and friendly. Communication was easy, and reminders and questions before departure were answered smoothly. You can also learn the basics of skiing well. Besides the one-hour lesson, there is plenty of time left. Even ski novices can have fun. I thought the teaching would be one-on-one with many people, but there were only four people learning snowboarding, so it felt great. You can ask questions, and they will be answered kindly. After a day, you can ski on the two easiest slopes, and also ride the ski resort cable car and conveyor belt that I always wanted to ride, which was very fun. We went on a weekday, and there weren't many people, so we could ski smoothly. In addition, if you want to go shopping in the evening, this option is also very good. The arrival time in the city is not late, and you can get off the bus and shop to your heart's content!

Our tour guide, David, who was also our instructor and driver, was extremely kind, experienced, and professional. He even treated us to a Korean brand brownie as a light breakfast, which was a thoughtful and pleasant touch. We were pleasantly surprised to find that it was just the two of us on the tour, making it feel like a private experience. David was very patient, never rushed us, and took the time to explain everything clearly while ensuring we were comfortable throughout the trip. During our free time, he even walked up the slopes to us when we first went up to check on us and offer help, which truly went above and beyond. With his guidance and encouragement, my husband and I were finally able to really snowboard, and we saw a huge improvement compared to the first time we tried on our own. Overall, it was a relaxed, enjoyable, and well-organised Jisan tour that exceeded our expectations. We would definitely recommend him.

Just follow the instructions to the meeting point and you can't go wrong. Someone will call your name when the time comes. Coach Bian taught us very carefully. My friend and I basically learned it right away. The afternoon is free time. You can continue to challenge yourself on the slopes, or return your equipment and relax at Starbucks watching people fall. Basically, I highly recommend beginners to sign up.

Had an amazing skiing experience! The instructors- especially Jin and Harry, were very helpful, equipment was well maintained, and the slopes were perfect for beginners. Definitely a fun and memorable day. Highly recommended!

I bought a similar tour seven years ago and was taken to a ginseng shop for shopping. This time, it was a very real skiing experience. The tour guide and coach were very serious, and their Chinese was fluent. The snow here is a bit hard, so be prepared to fall. Because different teams are put together, the queuing and waiting time takes a long time, which naturally reduces my own skiing time, which is a bit of a pity.

Highly recommend Charlie as a snowboarding instructor! He's a really great guy! Very dedicated to teaching, communication is seamless, and he diligently guided us and chatted with us throughout the entire experience. It was a fantastic experience! Will definitely come again next time!

First time skiing - the guide was very attentive in teaching us - allowing us to have fun skiing and get the hang of it. Because time was limited, we weren't fully satisfied~ I hope to participate in this guide's tour again next time☺️.

This was my first time going skiing, and the transportation and communication with the instructor were excellent. Although there were some minor delays and misunderstandings when arranging snowboarding and skiing, the instructor quickly helped us resolve them and make arrangements.🫶🏻 In the end, we were able to fully enjoy the skiing trip experience.

If you haven’t tried skiing or snowboarding, this is a great tour to start with. Me and my family booked 2 snowboard sessions and 4 skii sessions as a group of 6. We enjoyed every minute of it, the place was amazing and the activity it literally takes your breath away. 😅 Just be prepared since this will be both tiring and fun activity. Besides being a tour guide, Charlie is also a ski instructor. He is very meticulous, taking care of every detail, making clear arrangements, and carefully teaching every key point of skiing! I am very grateful to him for teaching my son how to ski on two skis!
