The overall itinerary was well-scheduled and offered great value. When road closures occurred due to bad weather, our driver-guide was able to adapt and arrange a new itinerary on the fly. Our driver-guide, Bahatiyar, was a very helpful Uyghur young man with excellent driving skills and clear explanations. He also introduced us to local Uyghur customs and even recommended a great plov (pilaf) restaurant. At the scenic spots, he pointed out the best places for taking photos and the least crowded areas. He even helped us with drone aerial photography. Xinjiang's scenery is truly magnificent and beautiful, and the locals are very welcoming, and the food is delicious. I was also very satisfied with the hotel facilities this time. Airport pick-up and drop-off were also arranged as part of the itinerary.
