- Mogao Grottoes normal tickets can be booked 30 days in advance. If tickets are sold out, you will need to book an emergency visit ticket.
- During the peak season at Mogao Grottoes, there are 6,000 full-price normal visit tickets available (Mogao Grottoes includes 8 actual caves + Mogao Grottoes Digital Exhibition Center + round-trip transportation to Mogao Grottoes), and 12,000 emergency visit tickets available (Mogao Grottoes includes 4 actual caves + round-trip transportation to Mogao Grottoes).
