Xinjiang Fun Tour in Southern Xinjiang 8 Days

Beautiful Views but Extremely Poor Travel Management We joined this 8-day tour in Xinjiang. While the natural beauty of Xinjiang was truly stunning, the experience was deeply disappointing due to the way the tour was managed by the travel agency. Several locations in the itinerary were canceled, including Lobu Village, which we later found out was inaccessible to foreign passport holders. This crucial information was not communicated at all during booking or even up to the day before the trip. As a result, we had to wait over 5 hours without any alternative plan. In addition, Panlong Route and two other locations were also removed from the schedule. We were even pressured to sign a waiver agreeing to the cancellations, even though we paid expecting to visit those places. Understandably, we felt frustrated and misled. Dinner times were very late (between 9 to 11 PM), and the hotels on the first two nights were dirty and dusty. There was also a lack of group discipline, and we had to speak up ourselves before the guide stepped in to manage noisy participants. That said, we would like to thank our tour guide, Mr. Passen, who did his best to help us enjoy the trip and ensured our safety. He also eventually managed the group more calmly after we raised our concerns on Day 5. What made the experience worse was the complete lack of proper compensation or proactive solutions. The agency only asked “What compensation do you want?” and made us repeat our complaints, even though our tour guide already knew them clearly. This was inefficient and frustrating. A professional tour operator should proactively offer a fair solution, especially considering that we traveled a long way from Indonesia and paid a significant amount for this tour. If a travel agency cannot provide access to key destinations for foreign travelers, they should not offer those routes — especially not on an international platform like Klook.

I am very satisfied with this trip!!! Although the weather was not very good when I just landed in Xinjiang, the experience in the Pamir Plateau in the last two days was great, and the scenery was beautiful!! I would like to thank the driver and the housekeeper for this trip. The seven-seater car is comfortable to max, and the driving is very stable. It will slow down and avoid potholes. We are basically unconscious in the car every day. Although the journey is long, the driver is familiar with the road conditions. He takes us to check in the scenic spots every day and then sends us to the hotel safely. The weather on the plateau road is changeable, so it is more reassuring to leave it to the old driver! The housekeeper will broadcast the itinerary arrangements and precautions to us every day, and actively help coordinate and solve problems when encountering them. Thank you for your caring care. This trip to Southern Xinjiang is great! I will come to play again if I have the opportunity in the future~
