Always enjoyed visiting Milan Cathedral. Always amazed how beautiful it is and wondered how it was built. The museum even added more highlights with our tour. Highly recommended to book/visit while in Milan. Get the early access to avoid to much crowds.
Visiting the Duomo Cathedral and its museum in Milan was an unforgettable experience. The cathedral itself is breathtaking, with remarkable architectural detail from its intricate façade to the stunning stained glass windows. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and awe-inspiring, offering a strong sense of history and artistry. The museum perfectly complements the visit by providing deeper insight into the history and craftsmanship behind the Duomo. The collection of sculptures, original statues, and detailed models allows you to appreciate the artistry up close. The exhibits are well-curated and easy to follow, giving a fuller understanding of how this iconic landmark came to life. A must-visit combination for anyone traveling to Milan.
It was so easy to validate my tickets. we headed to the entrance that had the staircase, they scanned the printed code, checked our bags, and we were on our way up. If you have elderly or have people that struggle with mobility, eould reccomend taking the lift package, otherwise it was a great workout going up the stairs. The views were great, and you start off at the rooftop, then head down into the cathedral. Afterwards, our ticket also had access to the museum, which was across the right of the museum. Overall great experience.
Roof top is a good experience. the scaffolding obscures the view a bit from one side but the rest is good. inside the cathedral is like any other cathedral, nice, spacious and lots of history. Museum is surprisingly interesting. we almost not realise our ticket allowed us into the museum. I’m glad we did. if you’re very cultural it will take a few hours for each one.
it’s very convenient to book from Klook and to use the QR code at the entrance of Duomo. we chose to take the lift up and go down by stairs. The rooftop view was gorgeous but there was some renovation works carrying on. The stairs going down were narrow and be careful when you walked down. overall it’s a good experience! Highky recommended.
the ticket was very easy to use, QR code scan, always have it handy! the entrance will have to check your bags or purses. YOU MUST TAKE OFF HATS, COVER YOUR KNEES AND SHOULDERS, otherwise you will need to go ticket purchase office to get a disposable covering to wear. the Duomo cathedral is breathtaking inside and outside. enjoy all the time and pictures without flash in there. Archaeological site is knowledgeable if you are interested, easy to find way around.
This is an amazing place to visit, one of the best attractions I have been to. Although there was some construction going on for the Paralympics 2026, overall, it was a very good experience, and the Milan Cathedral was truly amazing.
It's truly beautiful and magnificent. If you're visiting Milan, I recommend going inside to see it. In the summer, I suggest taking the elevator, otherwise, you'll be drenched in sweat by the time you walk up.

Guide

The Milan Cathedral, taking nearly six centuries to complete, offers a fascinating journey through history and architecture. Skip-the-line tickets grant access to the entire site, including the stunning rooftop with breathtaking views of Milan and, on clear days, the Alps. At 108 meters high and capable of holding 40,000 people, the cathedral is a masterpiece of Gothic design, filled with intricate details to admire. The rooftop, adorned with 135 marble spires and 2,000 statues, features the iconic Madonnina, a golden statue of Mary. Visitors can explore the baptistery, museum, and central nave, but the highlight remains the panoramic vistas of Milan, making the Duomo an unforgettable experience
