What to expect
- In the morning, we first went to the Daimei Ancient Village in Longhai, Zhangzhou. The Daimei Ancient Village has a long history. It was built during the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 560 years. It is the largest and most complete ancient residential building complex in Longhai District, Zhangzhou City. It is known as the “No. 1 Village in Southern Fujian”. There are 276 red brick ancient houses in the ancient village, which are arranged neatly and orderly. The architectural style is unique. The roof is a hard mountain-style curved swallowtail ridge, red tile roof, and stone foundation. It is one of the representatives of the architectural style in southern Fujian. Then, drive to the Volcano Island of Zhangzhou Coastal Volcano National Geopark, located in the coastal area of Qianting Town, Zhangpu County, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. It is the only coastal volcanic island geological park in China. The central volcanic eruption structure and the later weathering and sea erosion geological landforms are preserved here. It was rated as “one of the ten most beautiful islands in China” by “National Geographic China”. It contains many popular check-in spots, such as Monument Valley (Pink Castle), whose architectural style quotes elements from the Spanish Monument game, providing tourists with a dreamy photo background. The pink castle and the blue sea complement each other, creating a romantic atmosphere; Rainbow Mountain, the entire surface of the hill is painted with colorful patterns, bringing a visual impact and beauty to tourists. There are also many scenic spots suitable for taking photos and checking in, and you can leave many interesting commemorative photos on the volcanic island. After the trip is successfully completed, the special car will take you back to Xiamen city safely.
