Ishigaki Island: Phantom Island & Blue Cave Snorkeling (1-Day Tour)

We drove for about 30 minutes to a snorkeling spot in the north and went snorkeling. It rained in the morning, but by the time we gathered, the rain had stopped, so it didn't interfere with snorkeling. Even though it had rained, the water was clear, and we had a lot of fun. The guide who led us was incredibly kind. When I told them I was too tired to attend in the afternoon, they understood, but expressed regret that I would miss the 'Fantasy Island' as it's a difficult place to visit. I was very grateful for their understanding. It was a lot of fun, thank you.

Did our tour under guide Yuki who was fun and professional. These tours are run in small groups with one guide, can provide all necessary equipment including wetsuit. Unfortunately because of the tides and winds, phantom island portion was cancelled (partial refund was given) and we couldn’t swim very far out for blue cave. But sights were really amazing! Highly recommend to be able to see Ishigaki’s reefs. They take some photos for you for free and send at the end of the day :)

This afternoon, I participated in the ISHIGAKI ADVENTURE PiPi snorkeling tour, and it was an unforgettable experience. The first stop was diving right into the sea for snorkeling, where I saw colorful tropical fish and vast coral reefs, feeling as if I had entered a vibrant underwater world. The second stop was a visit to the dreamlike Phantom Island, where the pristine white sandbar sparkled in the sunlight, blending with the azure sea in a breathtakingly beautiful scene. The travel agency's arrangements were very thorough, with complete equipment and smooth procedures, making me feel secure throughout the entire trip. Special thanks to our guide, Jiro, who was very enthusiastic throughout, not only patiently explaining the ecology of the sea and the island but also thoughtfully taking many wonderful photos for everyone, making the entire trip more relaxed and enjoyable. This Ishigaki Island snorkeling experience is truly worth recommending!

This is my first time to snorkel! due to the sea condition and air condition, we unfortunately go to the blue cave. Then we go to another beach to Snorkel. The coach is really carefully and leave us to see the fish and good views. And the coral is amazing by snorkel. in the afternoon we go to the phantom island and go to snorkel again. It is really really really beautiful to see the coral. highly recommended for this tour if the weather is good and if you want to see the beautiful coral and some fish under the sea.

The tour is divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with a lunch break of 1.5 to 2 hours. The Phantom Island boat trip is approximately 25 minutes, and the Blue Cave is about 30 minutes by car. Equipment is complete; life jackets are older and lack crotch straps, but this doesn't affect safety. The Phantom Island tour starts with snorkeling off the boat, which doesn't last long. The marine life seen is okay, but the water is very clear and clean. The island stay is about 15 to 20 minutes, which is plenty of time for photos and videos. The water at Phantom Island is stunning! After getting off at the Blue Cave, there's a considerable downhill walk that's not easy. After reaching the beach, you need to wade through the water for a distance to get to the Blue Cave. This part of the path has many reefs and is not suitable for the elderly or children. The snorkeling time in the Blue Cave is sufficient. Those with poor stamina should stay close to the instructor's lifebuoy. Snorkeling outside the Blue Cave is incredibly beautiful, but unfortunately, you can't bring your own camera due to the risk of losing it. After the PiPi tour, free and unlimited-time showers are available. It is recommended to bring your own shampoo and shower gel. In conclusion, this tour is very cost-effective and highly recommended. The staff is friendly, and English is spoken! (Not suitable for children, the elderly, or young kids.)

My 2 and my friends originally reported to Fantasy Island + Ao no Cave. But the day before told that due to weather problems could not go to Fantasy Island! You can choose to get a refund or change to Mangrove + Green Cave! But the original itinerary was 900 dollars. But the changed itinerary was 800 dollars! Klook can not help change the refund of overpaid payment This is really a bit of a problem! Furthermore the day before cannot be rebooked! Talking about the itinerary Today Yuki led us to walk the itinerary! A very nice and professional leader.The whole day process was very satisfied and had a lot of fun! Blue sky and white clouds when the mangrove forest! The burger introduced by yuki for lunch was delicious! The Blue Cave is so beautiful! Then go snorkeling in the center of the sea. The clear seabed is really like being in an aquarium super many fish and corals during the journey yuki will help me take pictures, he also speaks fluent English, personally attentive and good to talk! Worth recommending!

The snorkeling day trip to Ishigaki Island's Phantom Island and Osaki Beach was absolutely perfect! The water was crystal clear, and the coral reefs were like something out of a fairy tale. Having you lead this trip made it incredibly reassuring and unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I couldn't go to Phantom Island due to the tide, but I did the Blue Cave snorkeling tour and it was amazing. MAKOTO was my guide and did a fantastic job; he showed us the coral reef—including a sea snake, a baby clownfish, other fish, and sea cucumbers—and also took lots of photos. Thanks a lot Makoto!

Amazing snorkeling experience in Ishigaki Island! Crystal-clear water, colorful fish and great staff. The service of Makoto san and Akari san was outstanding too. The friendly guides were professional, provided great equipment, took beautiful photos, and ensured everyone felt safe and comfortable. Small group size and warm Japanese hospitality made the whole experience perfect. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Ishigaki!
