It was a very memorable trip. The glacier tour guide was very professional, careful and patient! I look forward to taking part in the trip with the Blue Cave next time!
Amazing glacier hike experience in Iceland! The guide was super friendly and professional, explained everything clearly, and made the whole trip safe and fun. The view on the glacier was breathtaking — definitely a must-do activity in Iceland!
Wear hiking boots that cover your ankles. Shoes that don't cover the ankles, ankle boots with soft toes, or Martin boots are not suitable. Boot rentals are available for 1500 kr. The guide is professional and engaging.
For the first time in my life, I set foot on a glacier. The tour leader was very professional and encouraging. Very good experience.
The weather was bad and it just happened to rain. We just went up for a walk and had a look. The guide didn't help us find a photo angle. Overall, it was a quite special experience. The black and white glacier
The tour guides were two very friendly ladies. You could feel their enthusiasm for the glaciers. They boosted the atmosphere of the entire group and prevented us from feeling too tired. If you are older (over 60), it is better to participate after you have a simple exercise habit. It will not be dangerous. But the main thing is that after putting on the equipment, you have to walk on some gravel roads, which is not so easy to walk.
The guide was great, constantly providing information and helping with photos. For the itinerary, we first picked up crampons and an ice axe, then walked a long distance. Once we arrived, we changed into our shoes and started climbing the glacier. It was very beautiful and not too far.
A highly recommended itinerary that is worth a visit. The tour guide is awesome. The ice spring water on the mountain is super delicious. We drink it in Viking style.
The tour guide was very attentive to safety, which is important. Would recommend!
Overall it was good: great views of the glacier and clear explanations. It's a pity that the trip was a little short and there was not enough time to enjoy the scenery.
