More about Reykjavik Whale Watching Small Group Tour
This whale watching adventure takes place aboard a 12-meter custom-built RIB, designed to approach marine life in a safe and respectful manner. With a cruising speed of 32 knots, the vessel quickly reaches the whales’ feeding grounds, allowing ample time to observe these magnificent creatures up close. Between May and August, the itinerary also includes a visit to Akurey Island to view puffins during their nesting season. The return journey follows Reykjavík’s scenic coastline, offering excellent photo opportunities. Suspension “shock seats” provide superior comfort, even in choppier seas, while warm flotation suits, life vests, gloves, and goggles ensure safety and warmth. An experienced guide delivers engaging commentary in English, complemented by a free multilingual app with text and audio in five languages
