Beijing Badaling Great Wall Day Tour

Driver Xing was great, he proactively contacted us to confirm/remind us of pick up timings, what to do, what to see, where to take best photos and how to best enjoy the tour. He even offered to check crowd level and took us to the Bird's Nest on our way back as it was not crowded last evening. The Badaling Great Wall is truly beautiful and worth visiting. A night tour is a fantastic itinerary that allows you to experience both the daytime and nighttime views of the Great Wall. The drive takes about an hour and a half. Upon arrival, you'll need to pay an additional 100 RMB for the cable car up to the top of the Great Wall, then you can slowly walk down to the street level. It's a very well-planned arrangement. There are many slopes and stairs, so it's highly recommended to wear comfortable walking shoes; avoid sandals or flip-flops. Everyone really must experience the Great Wall at least once in their lifetime!

very helpful and kind guide. though the tour is in Chinese, she repeated herself in everything she said in English to those who don’t understand. a very lovely tour. the scene was breathtaking. night climb on the Great Wall is so much better. lesser crowd and you can take photos easily. and it’s cooling too. the night view of the walls are amazing. fully recommended for anyone wanting to see the Great Wall!

The weather is very good, not hot, the view is beautiful, you can see the sunset. And the lights at night are very beautiful. There are shows, the guides are good and take good care of you. This trip does not include the tram up the Great Wall of China. You can inform the guide for 100 yuan (upward only). Pick-up and drop-off service is on time, clean, and water is sold on the bus.

Everything was excellent . Easy communication with We Chat, on time and very competitive price. Our guide didn’t speak English but it wasn’t a problem for us.

the lady tour guide tried to help us even though her English is almost zero. we didn’t expect since the beginning as we knew we booked Chinese tour guide but her willingness to help has shown the great hospitality service from heart. Bus was old and made us a bit of dizzy and headache. however we enjoyed ourselves along the walking distance of Great Wall.

I learned about this tour from a friend's recommendation. This time, I was a foreign woman traveling alone. The tour guide, Huang Baomin, took great care of me, and this tour was truly excellent. The Great Wall of China is so beautiful, it's hard to describe with words. Afterwards, I watched a show that included face-changing performances and sword swallowing. Even if you're not Chinese, you'll still have a great time on this trip. I highly recommend everyone to come! Plus, the price is extremely worth it.

The guide was very nice. Although he could not communicate in English, he tried to take care of us the whole time. We should leave on time according to the appointment and should provide a We Chat number so that the guide can contact us conveniently. The car was good and polite and not old. Going at night was much cooler than during the day. We got some beautiful sunset photos. It is a better choice for visiting the Great Wall in summer.
