Hokkaido Summer Day Trip: Patchwork Road, Farm Tomita, Shikisai-no-oka, Blue Pond, and Shirahige Falls (Departure from Sapporo)

A good way to see Nakafurano and Biei in one day, especially during peak flower season. The tour covered many of the main highlights. The downside is that peak bloom also means peak crowds. There were long queues everywhere, even for soft serve, melon, lunch, and the toilets. Since Shikisai no Oka and Farm Tomita are quite big, the time at each stop felt short, so you really have to manage your time well and keep an eye on the schedule. Overall, it was a convenient and efficient way to visit many places in one day, but expect crowds and be prepared to move quickly between stops.

The weather was super, blue sky with white cloud, cooling weather. The bus journey is rather long, to 3hr and fro 2hr. so this day trip sightseeing is about 4hrs. rather rush in each scenic place. Lunch order is short, though we have enough time to eat and shop. the air, flowers, the snacks and food are pleasing to the eyes and our taste buds. I never had such a super sweet and creamy raw sweet corn before! amazing ! The lavender ice cream is full of lavender aroma, great desert. also don’t miss the yogurt st blue pond. The water fall would think so so only. Flowers at Shikisai-no-Oka and Tomita are splendid. Lucy our guide, do lots of homework by sharing very informative details during the trip. History of Hokkaido, people, culture and also food in the place. she make us feeling very safe and knowing what we are expecting in the trip, what to buy/eat and what not to as well. 👍

I loved this tour, one of the best experiences I had in Hokkaido. Lucy and the driver were really nice, and Lucy said a lot of interesting facts. The destinations were just as the pictures, it was so pretty it felt like a dream. Too bad that at the time I went to Tomita farm, the lavander was already harvested, but still it has a lot of other pretty gardens and the lavander ice cream is delicious and natural, I ate 3 and have no regrets! Also, as a personal recommendation, don’t buy anything in the lunch place, I’ve been traveling Japan for a while now on a low budget because I’m a student, and I can assure you, that place is 1000% a tourist trap. I was surprised when I couple of soap and cream costed more than my weekly food budget lol. Wait until Tomita garden, the quality seems a lot more better and much more reasonable prices!

Beautiful day trip from start to finish! The scenery was amazing, and our tour guide Lucy made the experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and organized throughout the entire tour while also making everything fun and easy to follow. I also really appreciated how she kept everyone on time and the day running smoothly without ever making it feel rushed. Highly recommend this tour if you want a smooth, well-organized, and memorable experience!

Participated in the tour on 2025/9/8~ Sunny weather ✨ To summarize, this was my first time booking a day trip through Klook and I highly recommend it! It's difficult to get to these places from the city center on your own, plus you get to enjoy beautiful mountain views along the way. More importantly, our guide, KEE, was very dedicated and introduced each attraction and must-try food list in both languages. I had a very pleasant day ✨ 📍Shikisai-no-oka is much more beautiful than in the photos! You can take a farm vehicle (500 yen, own expense) for a ride around and take pictures. I recommend the white raw corn, yellow cooked corn, croquettes, and cantaloupe soft-serve ice cream at the entrance. 📍The time spent at Blue Pond and the waterfall is shorter than at the previous location. 📍Lunch offers several set meals to choose from, which are decent. You can also buy souvenirs. 📍Farm Tomita feels smaller in area than Shikisai-no-oka. Most of the lavender has already been harvested in August, but the other flowers are still colorful and beautiful. I recommend taking pictures and eating lavender soft-serve ice cream, cantaloupe melon bread, and the cantaloupe melon 🍈 outside the park.

Amazing tour! Our guide Kee was awesome, he was super nice and very knowledgable about the area, so he gave us great recommendations. He even let me borrow 1000 yen since there were no ATMs available haha, so that was much appreciated. Flower fields were beautiful, blue pond was just like the pictures, and food was great. Would give more stars if I could!

A convenient option for visiting Nakafurano and Biei, especially if you’re travelling without a car and want to see several places that can be difficult to reach by public transport. We went during peak flower season, so the crowds were quite heavy and there were long queues for food, drinks, and even the toilets. The time at each stop was limited, but considering how many places were covered in one day, the schedule was understandable. You just have to manage your time well, especially at the larger spots. Overall, a good and convenient way to explore the area without having to arrange transportation yourself.

This was the first time we had Kevin as our tour guide! My mom and I had a wonderful time seeing all of these beautiful areas of Hokkaido especially Furano, Farm Tomita, and Blue Pond! I got to see the colorful summer of Hokkaido and it exceeded my expectations! I felt like the itinerary was planned well with good break periods for the restroom but also adequate amount of time per stop! Kevin did a great job being our tour guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable! He kept us timely and organized throughout the day so we would return home on time but did not feel rushed! It was definitely a great value for the tour and my mom and I had an amazing time! I would highly recommend this tour to all my friends especially since Hokkaido is expansive and it would otherwise be more difficult to travel to all these good sightseeing spots on our own!

This is a must tour thst one should avail when visiting Sapporo. Although the flowers were not fully bloomed yet but still it didn't diminish the beauty and splendor of the places we went to. my family and i had a great time! our guide Aoki was very informative and organised our very large group efficiently. it was a sunny day and the flowers were in full bloom. high recommend the lavender ice cream !!
