Kiyomizu-dera & Fushimi Inari Taisha One Day Tour from Osaka/Kyoto

Booked this for convenience in travelling to Kyoto and Nara and tourist attractions. Very helpful since we did not have to commute. The sites mentioned in the booking were completed although dont expect there is going to be a tour guide. We commnicated with the Chinese driver using Google Translate. Overall, good transport booking and saved us the hassle of commuting.

Unfortunately, it rained in the morning. Tour guide Zhao Dezhu drove to the meeting place early, which was convenient for everyone. w Tour guide Zhao was very enthusiastic along the way and introduced the background of several major attractions, which was really helpful for the visit. There were crowds of people at Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka in Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto. It was better to change to other attractions to see people than to see the scenery. Fushimi Inari Taisha is really good, but you can't go too deep, otherwise there will not be enough time. Nara Park and Todaiji Temple in Wakakusa Mountain are both worth visiting.

Worth the money, saves time and energy too as you skip the hassel of having to use punlic transport between places specially when your are with your children.

Very nice trip. You to see sights in ancient kyoto, a nice walk/hike through the gates of fushimi Inari shrine and temples and shrines at nara deer park.

Good value for money for the whole trip as train from Namba-Kyoto-Nara-Namba is almost A$50, the carpooling is ~A$60+ per pax. we could have saved on our kids’ train fares but we saved ourselves the hassle of transfering trains and stations. It was great as Tony arrived on time, and picks us on time at designated meeting points to proceed to the next location. i wasnt really looking for a guided tour so this was more than enough for us.

this is a relaxed way of exploring Kyoto and Nara for those who have tight vacation schedule. drop off points are also accessible to trains

What a wonderful trip! Because the hotel I booked was a little far from the meeting point, we were delayed because of the journey. Zhao Dezhu also patiently guided us. We were 10 minutes late to get on the bus. Zhao Dezhu was great! We liked this trip very much and we would choose it again if we come again!

If there is a next time, I will still take this itinerary. This itinerary gave us a very good feeling and we were very happy. We really enjoyed traveling with our children. Everything went very smoothly and the weather was exceptionally sunny!

It was an amazing experience. I do loved the food in Kyoto. I am 100% sure I will come back and visit again Kyoto.

Our trip was well organized by Zhao, with assigned bus seats, clear explanations and timekeeper and guide. The weather was also very good, it saves you a lot of time in transportation. Recommended.
