The car is comfortable, has free Wi-Fi, the car is a little late. You can buy a ticket on the app, but you have to come to the counter to get a paper ticket and pay a fee for issuing a paper ticket.
Board the bus after checking in at the Komtar bus station. The bus ride from Penang to Ipoh is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The coach was in good condition, with spacious seats and plenty of air conditioning. The station facilities were much worse, and the so-called ticket exchange was at an unmarked location, so you had to keep asking for help to find it. In addition, you had to pay to get a QR code (RM1 per person) to enter the venue. Why couldn't the QR code be attached at the same time as the ticket purchase confirmation?
The bus will depart on time at 8:00 AM and arrive at 10:30 AM. The seats are arranged in a comfortable 1+2 configuration. You need to wait for the bus at China Everbright branch of Fei Ma Holiday Co., Ltd.
Luckily, I had already downloaded the Easybook app to pay the facility charge and QR code charge, so I was able to get my e-ticket smoothly and depart on time. The bus seats were comfortable and the air conditioning was sufficient. However, because it was a public holiday, there was a huge traffic jam on the highway, turning what should have been a 2.5-hour journey into almost 5 hours. After that, I had to take a 30-minute Grab ride to Ipoh city center on my own.
A bus arrives in Ipoh, but unfortunately the bus station is too far from the city center. Thankfully, taking a taxi is convenient.
The seats were very comfortable, and the departure location was easy to find, and the bus departed on time. However, the return trip was delayed by 45 minutes, and I wasn't sure how much longer the delay would be, so I had to keep an eye on it along the way.
The hotel we stayed in was in the tourist area of Penang. The Unititi Express bus pick-up location is near Komtar Building, which is very convenient. Unlike buses from other companies, you don’t have to take a ferry to Butterworth before you can get on the bus.
The ride from Penang to express bus terminal just outside Ipoh is easy and comfortable but it needs to get another bus and taxi before I can reach Ipoh Old Town, which takes another 1/2 hour or so.
