Busan Korean Folk Painting Class

I attended the Klook Korean folk painting (Minhwa) class in Busan and truly had the best time. The artist was such a wonderful artisan : patient, passionate, and incredibly skilled. I loved every moment spent painting in the serene studio atmosphere. It wasn’t just a painting session; I learned so much about the meaning behind Korean folk art, the traditional materials used, and how much dedication and time it takes to master the technique. Thank you for sharing the beauty of Korean Minhwa with us. It was one of the most meaningful and memorable experiences of my time in Busan. Highly recommended! 🎨✨

This art class was a real workshop! The teacher guided me step by step how and when to use the colours, what brush I should use and other tips for MinHwa painting. Jin Kim is a passionate artist and teacher and it is obviously she is doing this from love of art. I had a great time painting, talking about korean culture and habits, all this with lovely music. The art studio, full of beautiful paintings is near the Chakhan Coffee (gamcheon-dong) that has a very good hazelnut latte. The result was very nice. :) Thank you so much for your patience and for advices.

Highly recommend! Teacher Jinee patiently explained and demonstrated all the techniques as many times as necessary. A little bit of art experience helps but is certainly not required. Either way you will have a very fun experience and a beautiful painting at the end. The studio is comfortable and easy to find. I had a great time both with painting and chatting about various things!

My mother and I had a wonderful and fulfilling time at Jinee's workshop. She provided very patient and meticulous guidance, and also gave immediate feedback. I highly recommend everyone to experience this in Gamcheon Culture Village 💐🤍

Very Fun and Interesting! Woman spoke great English and makes beautiful artwork. Perfect place for date night or a group activity.
