Fantastic Everything was great, especially the staff as others have mentioned, but one issue we had was that the temperature is controlled by the hotel, not the occupant. So it was a little warm for us, but after we expressed our concerns, they brought in an extra unit to cool our room down so we’re OK after that.

GoodStayed with friends
Our room was not clean when we arrived. We had to get housekeeping to wash the cups and spoons. They look was dirty and had to be swept. The cooked breakfast was always cold. We ordered eggs which was made on request. The chef Jamie was lovely and made me very good Pho. Sometimes we had to go to theirsister hotel for breakfast as there were not many guests. Definitely not a 5 star hotel.

The worst hotel of our trip.
We stayed in Vietnam for two weeks, and I can safely say this was the worst hotel of our entire trip. I know it was very cheap, so I wasn't expecting luxury—we just needed a base for the night after a late flight. However, as long as a hotel is clean and safe, I’m usually satisfied. This place was disgusting and downright dangerous.
There were severe electrical fire risks, including exposed cables and loose light switches. On top of that, there were hairs in the shower trap, it reeked of paint stripper at reception, and there were mopeds parked right in the lobby. The shower silicone was mouldy—the whole place is cheap, nasty, and needs a complete renovation. The positive reviews must be fake because there is absolutely no way anyone could rate this highly.
The biggest scam was the "rooftop pool and bar" inclusion. This actually belonged to a sister hotel across the road, not this one. It's completely false advertising, and they should really be refunding me.
I couldn’t comment on the breakfast because the place was so filthy I didn’t dare eat in the restaurant. If I had to give one positive, I’d say the staff were friendly. Thanks to them—it’s not their fault the hotel is in such a sorry, hazardous state.

FantasticStayed with kids
Been to Hanoi a few times and i could say that this hotel is my favorite. The location is perfect for exploring Hanoi as it is in the heart of the Old Quarter and just steps away from the lake, the train street, night markets and heaps of restaurants and stores. The staff at the reception and sales are all very kind and helpful. Special thanks to Henry who went above and beyond to ensure that my family will have a pleasant stay in Hanoi. Thank you guys !

First of all we arrived to find they had no knowledge of the booking even though we had email confirming. So we had to pay again but at a higher rate. The room was adequate at least the shower was hot. View not the best but can put up with that. Its advertised as a 5 star hotel but should be lucky to make 3 star. Dirty mattress outside the room during our whole stay. It also shows a rooftop bar, one of the reasons we picked it but its actually at the sister hotel down the road and when we went to try it it was closed. We asked about the pool and was told thats also at the other hotel but is closed to be cleaned. Breakfast well, we went for breakfast on the second day to find the room empty, we were rushing for a trip so had to go, when we asked when we got back they said sorry the breakfast was also at the sister hotel down the road, you couldn't make it up. We also came back one evening at 2am and couldn't get in because the night man was asleep, we managed to force the door open which was held closed by an umbrella. Just to rub salt into the wounds on check out they charged us for a bottle of water, really?
Been to many hotels in Vietnam and this was the worst by far and NOT 5 Star. Would not recommend.
