Fantastic The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable and it was cleaned well. They had big fluffy towels and supplied the room with plenty. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. The Rho Cafe was a bonus. Good food and drink and a great place to relax.

Great Older hotel, right next to the hospital so expect some noise.
It was nice the room had AC and a ceiling fan, the microwave came in good use for reheating leftovers. Small bathroom and some outlets could use replacing

GreatSolo stay
Room in older hotel well maintained. Fire alarm in my room was chirping when I got there. Reported to the front desk who were helpful and maintenance came quickly and took care of it. Got up early and wanted to have coffee only to discover the in room coffee maker was not working. Had to manually hold the on button down and the water that came out for the coffee was tepid and not hot enough to create coffee. Otherwise the stay was good.

GreatStayed with partner
We stayed in the Library suite before my surgery. I was looking at this stay as an opportunity to relax and a romantic opportunity for my husband and me.
The space is lovely and relaxing. However, the room deserves some love.
The bathtub looks awful! It just looked scary. It needs to be refinished or replaced. That said, the water is nice and hot, the jets worked, and it was relaxing.
Unfortunately, the fireplace could use some attention as well. The paint is raised and cracking off. Really not a huge deal, but for looks, it dated it quite a bit.
The fireplace is the original fireplace and very cool that way, so if you think you're going to have a romantic fire, guess again. No warmth or romance, as it hasn't been switched over to propane either.
The food downstairs was really good! And there is a small frig in the room. Staff was nice! :-)
Overall, our stay was just what the doctor ordered!

The hotel was a challenge to check in because we needed to use the cart, so had to go through a service area and negotiate a spot to unload. And the elevator was tiny, could barely fit in it with the cart. I will say it was nice to have a small restaurant in lobby and the garden atrium was nice as was the rooftop terrace. It was walking distance to the Pikes Market area, but the walk back is mostly up hill, with the last block being the steepest.

FantasticStayed with kids
We enjoyed our stay here. The building is old but updated and had a lot of charm and was clean. It’s within walking distance to many dining and shopping options and close enough to Pike Place Market for most people to walk. The area itself is pretty quiet though we could frequently hear sirens from a not too distant thoroughfare. I would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The design is a little outdated but didn't interfere with my trip. I would book here again.

clean room just way too old. Old carpet old furniture old bathroom. nest to hospital and no water or breakfast. Way to inclined for walking. You would need to take uber cause everything is far from it.
