Hotel New Ueno was amazing. The hotel is out dated but the all staff were very helpful (front and housekeeper) and was the cleanest hotel I ever stayed. I definitely would stay there again. Only problem I had was that when I booked thru Wotif, I thought that was the only cost as I booked my children who are two and seven. When I checked in, they said I needed to pay for my daughter which was just over ¥10000. I wish it showed when I did the booking so J could compare the prices around the area. But overall, it was a great stay.

Spotlessly clean hotel in an excellent location right next to Ueno train station. Staff are very professional and most helpful. We stayed here for one night after flying into Japan before heading out on the rest of our adventure.
