Stayed with kids

Loved the room layout and amenities ( kitchenette, utensils, washer/dryer, bunk beds for the kids). Location is 10 mins walking from Nijo castle and 5 mins from Sanjo market for casual evening stroll and dinner. Not that close to any station particularly but we used 'go' app for the tourist spots and so enjoyed more laid back location.

The room was spacious and clean. Check-in was very easy and fast. The front desk staff also were very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this apartment hotel to others and I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed with kids

Loved this hotel, room was great, staff were lovely and would def recommend. The family room was perfect with bunks big enough for teenagers and a huge bed for us. The washer/ dryer took a while but was very useful and kitchen/ bathroom were clean and a good size

I’m so glad we stayed at Mimaru Nijo Castle. Everything about it was excellent - the space, the convenient location and having in suite laundry and kitchen facilities. In addition, the staff were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Loved this hotel. Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Loved the Japanese style. Air conditioning fantastic and all apartment amenities great. Washer dryer super useful and convenient that it could run a quick cycle. Lots of amenities nearby or within walking distance and/or bus.

Lots of space for 5 adults. Was nice to have a mini kitchen and laundry in the suite. Nice shower. Front desk staff were very happy to help with restaurant recommendations and luggage storage. Good value, very clean. We would stay again!

We loved this hotel. The front desk staff was lovely and friendly. The room was perfect for four people and the kids were very comfortable on the futon beds. The shower water pressure was excellent. It was great having laundry in the room although it took a while to actually dry everything. We were walking distance to Nijo Castle and many other areas were walkable too. We would stay there again.

I loved the location of this hotel. It was convenient in every way. The room was nicely appointed and it was very convenient to have laundry in-unit. The staff was very nice and all spoke perfect English. Everything is clean. I’d definitely stay here again!
